Will my Nvidia Graphics Card work with macOS ? List of Desktop Cards with Native Support

Give it a try and find out. I've never owned any card with a GK106 core.
Alright, will update once I get an SSD for Big Sur.
Might take a bit as I'm a jobless minor.
Yeah, these cards were my uncle's and he gave them to me since he was clearing stuff out.
I swapped them for the GTX 750 that was in there because I needed a DisplayPort connection.

Scrape together 22 dollars and you can buy a 120GB SSD these days.

Spend 10 dollars more and get 256GB of storage and faster read/write speeds.
Lexar SSDs are made by Crucial so quality control is very good.

I have a pair of Asus GTX 660's - https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/asus-gtx-660-directcu-ii.b1927

I found the graphics issues happened after macOS was installed, and most commonly when I used Safari.

Saying that I could run Mavericks, Yosemite and El Capitan with a GTX 660 without any graphics issues. It has only been since the release of macOS Sierra that the hacks containing these two cards had any graphics issues.

They were swapped out for a pair of XFX AMD HD7870's, which surprisingly have worked without any issues since High Sierra. The XFX cards are now in a pair of AMD FX hacks running Catalina.

GDDR5 Memory Asus GT 710 that works with macOS

These are a refresh of the older GK208 core GT 710 cards. Asus started selling these last July 2020 due to the work at home pandemic. The good news is that they are fully compatible with High Sierra through Big Sur and work OOB.

I'm fairly certain the prices of these will go up higher just as prices of most all other cards have in 2021. So if the crypto mining boom keeps going all this year, this card is an affordable way to have working Hackintosh graphics if your iGPU is not supported or you just want to connect to a 4K TV via the HDMI output.

These are single slot, come with a LP bracket so you can use it in most any PC that you can run macOS on. I can already see the prices going up to around 90 dollars on Amazon.com so Newegg is currently offering the best deal. The fact that it is fanless means no fan noise, no fan to fail or collect dust. Should work reliably for many years.

I have this exact card installed in one of my HP Server Hacks, which lacks an IGPU as it uses a Xeon CPU.

Here are a few screenshots showing the card in About This Mac and two System information reports:

This card is not going to win any races or allow you to run any new games, but it will perform decently in a HTPC/server setup and allow you to undertake standard computing tasks, including some light gaming (old games), simple photo manipulation/editing, 2D CAD, word processing email, Internet browsing etc.

Amazon (as of today) sell them in the UK for around £42, for the 2GB model.

I'd suggest that anyone in the UK that needs one buy now. This crypto bubble will probably last many more months so even these 710s may eventually get in short supply. 42 pounds is a very good price. I stopped in a local Best Buy store this week. All the shelves were completely bare, no graphics cards available.

Amazon UK have the 1GB GT 710's available for £36, so an extra £6 gets you double the VRAM.

The 2GB card with a low profile bracket costs £48, which is ideal for a SFF or HTPC setup. The low profile brackets can also be purchased separately.

These cards are ridiculous prices on eBay.co.uk.

I don't see the price of £48 but this seller has over 50 left at a good price.
Here's the link for those who can buy from Amazon.co.uk https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07489XSJP/?tag=tonymacx86-21

Yes, people should not give in to the Ebay scalpers. Buy from Amazon UK while they are still reasonable. The ones in this price range sold out very fast at Amazon.com. Now even the refurbs sell for around $90 or more.
