a very handy tool that everyone needs to know about :)
I use OCC and a quarter of the time after it's gotten an update and just noticed they have validate and a checker in the app.

Couldn't agree more––there's always that panic when moving to a new config.

Yes, OCC has a builtin thing, but i don't use that software, i use plistEditPro to edit config.plist as i like to see what is happening

wasn't much of a fan of their clover configurator as it used to add in a tonne of rubbish in config.plist that wasn't necessary which put me off on OCC :)

PlistEditPro is my absolute favorite!

Funny enough, I made a clover EFI just to have and didn't use a configurator. It was honestly nice seeing that boot loader.

yes, you need to fix those errors
So far so good, i fixed a lot of errors.
But this one is present:

"No schema for DisableSecurityPolicy at 0 index, context <Quirks>!"

and i didn't get the point to fix it.
I have the entry in my config.plist but the error is still present.
Btw. the boot ist freezing after 15 seconds when the language section of the installer window appears.

How do i get around this?

Remove the invalid 'DisableSecurityPolicy' entry from your config.plist.

Sanity Checker
Hello Pilgrim,

thank you for your quick response.
I have now a clean config.plist.
Sanity Checker says everything is green.
ocvalidate is missing 'DisableSecurityPolicy' (i ignore because you said to delete that entry)

My problem is unfortunately persistent. The system is freezing after 15 seconds when i can choose the input language at the installer window.

Any suggestions on that?

also best to read the changelog before updating OpenCore:

ocvalidate is missing 'DisableSecurityPolicy' (i ignore because you said to delete that entry)
I said to delete the invalid entry.
If ocvalidate is reporting a missing entry then you should insert a valid one.
Compare your config.plist with the sample provided in the OpenCore download.
