Ohhh man finally I did it, thanks a lot @Charly10000 I will test battery on your EFI and get back to you. And yes camera is working fine on your EFI make sure your camera hardware is ok.

Anyone who is going to try @Charly10000 EFI make sure to use opencore 0.6.4 BOOTx64 file (Debug version) otherwise you won't be able to boot.

I will also request Charly to mention about bootx64 file in his GitHub page.

One more thing I'm Facing a strange issue with the trackpad with my EFI and also with @Charly10000 EFI. The trackpad stop working after few mina completely dead, it's again start working after I restart the laptop or after I put it into sleep it's very annoying.


Anyone else facing same issue on HP ProBook 450 G7? What coluld be the reason?

Hi @hpprobook25 thanks for sharing it but i have already tried charly efi and facing same trackpad issue on it, the second efi is not even booting up facing kext scan error , please check attached image if you want to check that error.

@newmalikhack you have activated in "kernel" section in OpenCore more than only one "VoodooInput.kext". You must have to reduce to only one VoodooInput.kext

@Charly10000 I use your EFI, Probooks does well (Big Sur 11.2.1) but temp is little high I think 55 -> 69 deg.(istat)
Can we use the fan?
What is the temp of your system?

Hi,

Everything is working very good so far. But one thing is still not working fine.

* Sleep only works "manually". When I close the lid it makes volume changing sounds but do not sleep. If I put it to sleep manually and wake it with pressing the power button it works fine.

* Brightness is not working; The hotkeys are working and the slider for brightness is in the settings, but it does not change the brightness at all. When using the App QuickShade, it is working fine.

* RTC is broken, when shutting down. On restart it is working fine.

Ayn ideas here?

Switched to EliteBook 830 G6. So this reply is obsolete now.
