macOS 11.2 Update

Went through App Store. Walked away and came back to 11.2 OpenCore 066

Easy Peasy update to 11.2 via app store software update. Only took about 2 quick restarts and that's it.

I needed to enable SIP + clean NVRAM or the update would not shows up. Updated all my hacks, no problem so far.

Couldn't get my Ryzentosh to update to 11.2. I followed your advise, and all is GOOD... Thanks for the info.

The update is still not showing up for me. Any suggestions on how to get it to show up? I've already tried running the following command in Terminal to get it to force pull in any software updates: softwareupdate -l

For me, the only thing that worked was to temporarily change my SMBIOS to a different newer machine iMac 20.2
It then showed up.

Thankfully a NVRAM reset solved my problem and the update showed up for me. I saw further up in the thread that SIP should also be enabled. Hope this helps anyone who runs into this issue

Not true, I have sip disable and the update show up
