@serdeliuk How did you managed to get audio? I tried adding patching AppleALC using compiled kext with adding our audio codec, but documentation seems to be outdated and I'm not getting anywhere -_-

@Feartech Is there anything else I should check if it's working in my laptop?

not sure, what doesn't work currently?
Even I'm not sure about that :) I don't use card reader and other un-essential stuffs included in my laptop
But seems like there is a lag while using OS X, is it expected in Ivy Bridge laptops with 8 GB DDR3

My laptop with 8GB ram and i3-3217U CPU @ 1.80GHz work great with Ubuntu, Mojave or BigSur, i have observed that if the power connector it is not ok (i had the id cable broken) or it is not properly inserted the CPU speed drop from 1.8Ghz to 600Ghz
Sometimes if "intel speed step" it is enabled this can cause issues too but not in my case

I tried running Geekbench, here are the results

Seems like a significant difference is single core results. 30%+ difference where as multi core score seems to be ok-ish 18-19% difference.

Could this be because of hardware being used for long ? :p

Note - I'm using a HDD not a SSD

I wouldn't always rely on those type of scores

maybe use the machine as you would normally to see how it performs, whether you are a web designer or a youtuber etc, and see how the machine performs for yourself :)
