Have you updated UAD Software to the latest version?
What is your Bios Thunderbolt configs?
Please post a screenshot

No sure what is going on but I did a flash and HackinDROM SSDT update and Thunderbolt 1 drives are now working but only on one Thunderbolt port. Drives also don't appear after re-boot without being hot-plugged. IORegistry looks okay to me but I might be missing something. Anyone else see a problem?

Not sure why every few months this happens, but here I am again after an update getting a prohibited symbol. I have not gone to Big Slur cause I figured these problems would occur, just installed the security updates for Catalina and the latest update to Clover... anyone know how to get back in to uninstall the Clover update?

I updated to the latest BIOS, and now the computer wakes from sleep without KP and reboot. Thanks a bunch because I never even thought about updating the BIOS.

Some questions and suggestions:
  • Are you using the Gigabyte Designare Z390?
  • The System Information --> Thunderbolt screenshot is not correct. There should be a lot more information displayed on that page.
    • Please perform a CMOS Reset (using a flathead screwdriver, short the two designated pins on motherboard according to instructions in motherboard user manual).
    • Then configure BIOS parameters again, starting with F7 (Load Optimized Defaults).
  • After booting back into macOS, please post screenshot again of System Information --> Thunderbolt.

  • Please check that BIOS --> Boot --> CFG-Lock is Disabled.
  • If problem persists, enable Verbose mode and post photo of the point at which boot process stops.

Guys, I made a mistake :( I'm gonna need your help.

My WIN10 partition was crashing on startup almost every time with a BSOD. Apparently, some drivers issues. So i did a scan and updated them. It might have cause some hardware update in the hard disks or motherboard, because after that I wasn't able to access my OSX partition anymore.

My OSX and WIN10 partitions are on 2 nvme m2 Samsung 970 EVO Plus disks. After unplugged and replugged them, I don't know what happened but I could access to my osX partition again... THE PROBLEM IS my 3 others disks (plugged in SATA) won't show anymore on OSX. (they appear with WIN10).

I suspect an EFI problem, but I haven't touch anything and before that mess, I had no problem accessing them on OSX.

Any idea? :(
Thank you !

Hmm not seeing that as an option in my BIOS...
Please install BIOS F9i from the Gigabyte website, then configure all BIOS parameters including Boot --> CFG-Lock --> Disabled.
