Hi all,

I've installed successfully Big Sur on the Gigabyte Z370 HD3 (bios 14b).
Everything works fine apart from ethernet and more specific the speed of Internet.

It doesn't get speeds above 100kb/sec. Of course it doesn't have to do with my router etc as I it works fine on other OS.

I tried so far the following kext (adding/removing each one each time)

1. IntelMausi
2. IntelMausiEthernet

but the problem remains and dry me nuts. The manual of the motherboard says that the ethernet card is Intel GbE Lan chip in case it helps.

Attached you can find my EFI folder.

Any help is very much appreciated.

I have the same motherboard and am using OpenCore 0.6.4 with Big Sur. I am not seeing any issue with LAN speed (I used LAN_SpeedTest). I am using the current IntelMausi v1.04 <https://github.com/acidanthera/IntelMausi> which is just a different branch from Mieze's IntelMausiEthernet. The only difference I can see is I am using BIOS F8.

Hi @agrajag, can you share your EFI folder?

I have a similar hardware but I’m not able to find a proper OpenCore config.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

In the end I stumbled upon with OC Gen-X and just selecting my processor family and including WhateverGreen, AppleALC, IntelMausi, USBInjectAll, NVMeFix and selecting MacPro7,1 in SMBIOS, I got a fully working system with sleep and audio.

Again, thanks for your kind help.
Best wishes.
