I've found another issue on my system

Just tested the SD card reader, doesn't seem to recognize anything. Is there a way to fix that?

The port is detected under system information where it says USB2.0-CRW in the USB section but the laptop doesn't recognize any sd cards inserted.

Also btw, I'm talking about the built-in sd card reader
try checking in your bios, make sure peripherals are enabled such as 'SD" card.

It's enabled and I tried it on Windows, it detects an SD card there, but not for macOS...

I've done quite a lot of research and I also tried configuring a generic driver for card readers but no success...

last thing I can suggest, try re configuring your USB ports and remove xhciportlimit patch if you're using that

Tried to follow your suggestions, I don't think it fixed anything

can you confirm that the sd cards are not locked and are formatted correctly? are the showing up in disk utility?

Yes, sd cards are formatted correctly, tested a few of them, none of them showed up in disk utility : (
 
First of all thank for your support, i just came from your original post and i used your efi to install big sur, it looks like everything works fine on my computer, i just need to replace my wifi card to get all the features running, but i tried to connect to an external monitor and when i connect, my display goes black i see the external as extended monitor but i cannot see anything on my main display and if i disconnect the external the main display still black, do you know any possible reason/solution?

Note: Sorry for my english im not native english speaker. I hope you can understand me.

Thank you for your help, and one last thing i ordered a BCM94360NG wifi card, do you know if i need to do any modification on the plist or the kext to have it full working?

shouldn't need any kexts for that card
