Thanks. Didn't work for me, but it gives me a better starting point. Will keep plugging away and report back if I get anywhere.
Previous files helped a lot. Thanks again. Updated a few things and got it to work.

I have used the opencore config provided here and confirm that everything works, but for the Intel 7265ac wifi. The Airportitlwm.kext supplied here should be working. The plist contains the force loading of IO80211Family.kext which is supposed to work with this Airportitlwm.kext. But for some reason the IO80211Family won't load and so won't the Airportitlwm. =(
Also, there is annoying flickering on the screen after waking the system up. But that's not a problem compared to the wifi card. I am using the slow Bluetooth PAN connection and trying to solve the problem, but with no success so far. Can you give any advice?

I haven't had any luck getting WiFi working. Hopefully, someone else can help.

As far as I can tell, everything is working for me with the exception of Bluetooth. It sees my mouse but won't pair. Still researching this.

I have the Bluetooth working. And I am using Internet via Bluetooth connection to my phone. This is too slow, of course, but it is the only way to connect my system to the Internet. And it also got seamlessly paired with my Apple Aluminium keyboard, stealing its connectionfrom my Gentoo desktop =)
That's strange you had the problem with Bluetooth. I wonder somebody could tell us how to debug this or what to read to debug this. =(
