Noob question : Do we need power management kext (cpufriend)after unlocking cfglock ?

I don’t use it. I think it’s not necessary. At least on my PC. Install Intel Power Gadget, run it, if you see the CPU frequency vary between a minimum and a maximum depending of the apps you run, then I think it is not necessary.

The CGFLock.efi tool can only be used with OpenCore, it doesn't work with Clover.
There are manual methods to carry out this task, for example in Dortania, they are much more complex and have some danger of damaging the BIOS.

I have tried CFGLock.efi and apparently it has worked well.

I'd like to know how you are saving the screenshots you took. I have the screenshot efi driver. What F key to use and where is it saved ?

I have run CFGLock.efi from the UEFI shell to be able to take a screenshot of the process (if I run it directly from the OC menu, CrScreenshotDxe.efi did not work and I can't take screenshot).

I'd like to know how you are saving the screenshots you took. I have the screenshot efi driver. What F key to use and where is it saved ?...

With the CrScreenshotDxe driver pressing F10 when I am in the OC menu. I use Apple keyboard, it may be that on Windows keyboard it is another key.

If I run CFGLock.efi or VerifyMsr2.efi directly from the OC menu, CrScreenshotDxe doesn't capture those screens you see. I have to start OpenShell.efi and run each one of the tools entering the folder that contains them (eg FS2:>\EFI\OC\Tools\).

Screenshot is saved in the current folder where the OpenShell prompt is. When I take screenshot directly at OC menu, without entering OpenShell, it's saved at the root of the EFI partition.

Remember that after running CFGLock.efi you have to reboot to see the change with VerifyMsr2.efi.
