Sounds like your CMOS battery is not retaining the settings. Did you replace the old one with a fresh battery ?

Affordable QHD IPS monitor by LG

LG 27QN600-B 27” (2560 x 1440) IPS

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089NZCLHW/?tag=tonymacx86com-20

Since most people will scale a 27" 4K monitor to 2560 x 1440 anyway, this makes buying a high resolution 27" monitor easier on the budget. This sells for $226 right now on Amazon.com. If you want to really enjoy Big Sur and the new GUI this is one of the better investments you can make. You can even run it on HD4600 onboard graphics via the preferred DP to DP connection.

The primary reason most of us buy these refurbished Dell machines is because they are so affordable. You can use the money you saved on the build to get a great looking monitor like this. If your graphics card is good enough to game at 1440p that makes these look even more attractive to add to your OptiMac system.

Does anyone have a working configuration for the DELL 9020m?
Have you tried going through the OC guide by Dortania yet ? What from this guide have you tried so far ?
Note that the CFG unlock method does not work for the M (micro) motherboard. That's why I'm keeping
this thread focused on just the USFF, SFF and MT models for consistency and to prevent confusion in readers.

For your Micro version you'll want to try AppleALC layout-id of 27 and SMBIOS iMac 14,4

As far as someone posting a completed EFI folder, I don't encourage that as it prevents
people from learning the important things they must know to be a hackintosh owner.
Other than that it generally doesn't work well as everyone has different requirements
for their specific usage scenario.

It's probably best to follow the general guidelines of this thread:

Of course you'll need to generate an OC EFI folder. Use the app by Pavo that I've linked to in my guide.

H I have a problem with my Optiplex 9020 usff only the USB 2.0 ports in the back work. If I activate USB 3.0 in the BIOS then MacOS doesn’t start up anymore

First you'll need to add your Dell hardware to your signature or your main hardware profile. Your choice. Include the CPU and graphics you have. For motherboard, simply put in Dell 9020 USFF.
