im stuck at 434 mbps link rate, no packet loss this time so better than BCM94360NG but still not getting 2 spacial streams

I don't think FakePCIID will help with any of that. I just use AirportBrcmFixup and I get 867.

I think you should check your Wi-Fi network instead. Maybe try different channels.

ive done a significant ammount of troubleshooting across 4+ hours and 2 different routers supporting 867mbps and i also found a post in german from another user with the same issue on T440P and Catalina 10.15.7, are you getting 867 in catalina? and if so with clover? or opencore im assuming? maybe i need to try opencore but i dont see it fixing the issue... just all i can think to try.

I'm on Big Sur and I use OpenCore.

yeah i figured because i could tell its Big Sur and i dont see many clover builds for Big Sur.

maybe its possible that

Clover running 10.15.7 and lower + DW1560 = 434mbps max
OC running 11.0+ + DW1560 = 867mbps max

i wonder if its working in OC running 10.15.7 or lower with 867mbps rate.

i will try on OC running 10.15.7 shorly but im not hopeful, im having a hard time wrapping my head around what could cause this or be done to fix it, something smells fishy.

I have a Clover configuration set up for my laptop too. I keep that (along with the setups for all my other builds) on a USB flash drive for emergencies.

I don't think Clover is an issue.

could you please check if its working with 867mbps on clover on catalina if you have a usb to do it, and if it works could u share the version of AirportBrcmFixup please?

I don't have Catalina on my laptop anymore, but booting from Clover still gets me 867.

I'm just using the latest release version of AirportBrcmFixup from the acidanthera team.

interesting, i know its possible to boot into big sur with clover but didnt think it would be this simple to just switch over, can anyone verify if this card is also limited to 434mbps in catalina for them?

i dont want to install big sur just to find out if it fixes it, as i dont really want big sur and if it didnt fix it would be a big waste of time and pain to make sure i dont loose anything important

Once set up, it takes no effort switch from Clover to OpenCore or vice versa. I just plug in my USB flash drive and select it from the BIOS boot menu.
