Hi
try to use my last EFI
I have same result with your last EFI. Kernel_task create high load on cpu, when i disable Apple ALC - cpu load normal, but no sound

Hello, new to the Hackintosh thing. Just got a XPS 9370 with touch 4k and 8g Ram. I just downloaded desmomarco999's Last "EFI.zip" to try and see if I can get it working. A couple of questions:
- I'm curious what doesn't work so far?
- Can I set it up to dual-boot?
(Haven't used Bootcamp for a long time but not sure if that is the way to go with doing a Hackintosh)

Thanks for any help you all can give!

Happy to share working AppleALC. Speakers <=> Headphones, and Mic are working.
Enjoy ;-)

We are close to 100% ;-)))))

use alcid=58
Hey, could you upload the AppleALC source (or layout 58 xml files)? I have an XPS9380, which has the same codec but different pin path.
Actually, it may be irrelevant; I see that layout-id 22 is used, with SSDT-ALC299.aml - could you tell me what guide you followed to create it, ie why those verb commands?

@Darkbaron: I am working on a OC EFI.

Actually works:
iGPU: Metal, VRAM 1536MB

Not working, need some fixes:
  • Audio: No Device shown in System Preferences Sound.
  • USB-C: Only the right one is working.

Hey any further progress? Wanna upgrade it to OC 0.6.3 so i can get BigSur booting :) thank you

Okay everything works here and bigsur boots just fine, however the only issue is I have with Audio, please can someone tell me why Audio refuses to work, thanks

I needed CodecCommander for audio to work.

Ah thanks for the upload, using your opencore build, thank you again :)

Bro, quickly remove your smbios info from github :)

Thanks, I was just keeping all under source control for my own reference, but if others are going to start using it... ;-). Anyway I hope it's useful for others. For me nearly 100% working. Sleep is a but temperamental (but think it can be fixed), but other than that only the webcam doesn't work.

Yeah you've done a great job aha, well done, pretty sure you can fix webcam too, maybe, pretty sure it's not hard to fix

Update: while I was researching possible fixes, audio came back on its own . So just webcam left to fix (I doubt that it will be possible though).
Hey, brother, my device is 9370 4K. If I use your EFI, I can't access the installation interface. The computer will be black for a few minutes and then restart.
