I don't think HD 4400 graphics are supported on MacOS. As far as I can tell, real Macs based on hardware of the Haswell era only ever used CPUs with HD 4600 graphics.

So you may need to get a supported graphics card if you really want to install and run MacOS on your system.

And also, you should check the BIOS options of your system to see if the required options in the Installation Guide are available. Without them you may not be able to install MacOS at all.

Hi Jamesbond007,
How you doing? Could you advice me please?
I'm constructing my new hackintosh, I found a motherboard GIGABYTE Z390M Gaming (Micro ATX), is it acceptable or is better buy like yours, Z390 Designare?

Thanks in advanced. You'll help a lot.

Hey man, I read how you built your machine, awesome, thanks for share.
I'm intermediary in informatic, so if you could help me I'll appreciat. I have been used my hackintosh with those configuration for six years and the time has come to build another. Could I show what I'm thinking to buy and you give some advices please? You'll help a lot.

Sure.

Configuration:

GIGABYTE Z390M Gaming (Micro ATX)

Intel Core i7 9700F (LGA1151 - 8 núcleos - 3.00GHz)

Memória DDR4 - 32GB (2x 16GB) / 2.666MHz - Corsair Vengeance LPX

Placa de vídeo - AMD Radeon RX 580 (8GB / PCI-E)

One WiFi and Blluetooh card

I'm in doubt about the SSD and HD, I'm thinking one SSD to system and one to work.

What do you think this configuration? And about the HD and SSD, do you think that I should use the HDs of the old hackintosh in the new? (they are old)..

Thanks a lot in advanced.

Yeah. Everything looks fine. Please see post #3 on my Z390 M Gaming thread for info about wi-fi/Bluetooth card.

I would definitely go for SSD instead of HDD.

This build should be compatible with MacOS High Sierra and above.

I use my main system to run MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 / High Sierra / Mojave / Catalina.

For a new system like this you should definitely use a SSD as a boot drive at least.

Ok I’ll do that.
I’m very grateful for your help.
