So I tried to boot with @jacknick's EFi and at least I got a verbose output which told me "Did not import service from caller : path = /System/Library/Launchagents/..... error = 152: Service cannot load in current boot environment". Does anyone know what to do with that?

heres my newest efi.

having this one issue with sleep though. it seems if my laptop is not plugged and i wake it by opening the lid, the display goes on fine and it wakes but occasionally the password field in the login "fills up" as if a key is being held down. the only way i've been able to login is too close the lid again, plug in the ac adapter, and wait a few minutes to wake it again.

any suggestions? thanks!!

ok while I did get pretty far with creating my own EFI following the opencore guide, I decided to just scrap it all and go with @blazinsmokey EFI...and HOLY CRAP it's Perfect!!! Before i wasn't able to boot with it but figured out it was the CFG_LOCK not being unlocked.

Finally got keyboard brightness keys working! And I'm even able to boot into windows from open core. will do see how it goes but so far so good. Thanks Blazin!:clap::clap:

Thanks @blazinsmokey with your updated Tools I finally managed to boot until I see a status bar and with @jacknick's Efi I now see that my dell now throws up at "exiting bootstrap mode". I disabled CFG Lock and still don't know what's wrong with my system. Any Suggestions?

Here's a weird one - does anyone else see any kind of backlight flicker while watching videos fullscreen on a 4K internal display? I had it on Catalina and tested it again on Big Sur. Hoping it's not a hardware failure, but it only seems to occur when playing a video.

Hi, are there changes I need to make to complete this with the default dell wifi card? I'm planning to get the DW 1560 but not for another few weeks, so I'd like to figure out this setup in the meantime (if possible).

As is, following your guide leads to me getting stuck on the apple logo after ~10% of progress in the loading bar. This could be related to something else, though -- this is my first time building a Hackintosh, so I'm not confident in what I've done so far.

Thanks for the guide btw! It's exactly what I was looking for.

Yes, I believe you are having the same issue as I do also since we have the same system.

Hi. I have the same system as you. And I was able to get Big Sur to start perfectly. However, this is dual boot system. I can’t get windows to boot off of the picker. It does boot to windows if I use f12 to start the one time boot menu and select the Windows Boot Manager. The dual boot with windows was working with OC and Catalina. Any idea how to resolve this?

Do you mind sharing your EFI? I think it would help us a lot for troubleshooting. I am running a dual boot system as well right now.
Thanks in advance;)
