Update of Big Sur has worked everytime, but now i'm stuck in an update loop. I am on 11.0.1, and downloaded the 11.1 beta 2:

But when updating, i get to choose in OC menu, between Macintosh HD and BIG SUR. i pick big sur and it says 10 minutes remaining, then MacOS boots up and i get to enable or disable siri. (setting up new mac), and then it's back on 11.0.1 again..

I also had to resign into iCloud and had to force shutdown in the middle since it froze but mine updated to beta 2.

Can anyone confirm if ASUS Prime X299-A has a working NVRAM? I am considering to swap my MSI Raider X299 board - which has broken NVRAM.

I got that board and I'm on Big Sur, updated flawlessly and I gotta say my system has never been more stable with 11.0.1 Definitely Apple did a good job this here (and Acidanthera too ahahah). I can't list even a single thing that doesn't work ok, a part from my VA displays... terrible color shifting! Anyone can suggest good IPS panels?

Here you go, but keep in mind I still have some refining to do, but it should get you started. The RAM portion in PlatformInfo>Memory needs to be modified for your system too if you don't have 128GB of RAM. You can delete it, but you will get a RAM notification error.

It's currently on OC 0.6.3, once 0.6.4 is out next week (Monday) I will re-upload.
Yes It will work with OC 0.6.4, I use it and the update to 11.1 beta 2 went smoothly.

Are you running your Extreme Encore on Big Sur?

Does your PCI tab look like this?

Good to hear that X299-A is working well. I use ASUS ProArt PA329C - a little pricey but fabulous colors (99% AdobeRGB coverage).

I saw your post, but not yet, maybe this week-end, I just got a new SSD NVme and I’ll try it after I put it on the Mobo.

This also happened with my Sage/10G so not sure if I'm missing something. Just tried doing a clean install of Catalina and it looks the same.

I use UL850's (2 of them) and I love them. I had 2 38" Ultrawide LGs but they weren't full retina and Ultrawide is a gimmick in my opinion. I paid around $500 each.

I saw the UL600's for $279 per recently, not sure if it's still the same price, but it's the same exact panel, except it doesn't have some features like USB-C, built in speakers (they are not that great anyway) and tilting on the stand (I think)...
