I'm too.
Today install Catalina on another hdd.
Dont work wi-fi, BT and battery.
Next few day will be patching ))
Here is I found new manual how to install Big Sur on our laptops, but I haven't used it yet

If anybody is interested .....

I have my HP 440 G5 now with Open Core 0.6.3 and BigSur full Working, except Shutdown / Restart RTC Time Error of Message and one extra Restart from Bios, but could not care less for now........

Freaking fast with even Turbo deactivated in Bios, cause the need of Silence ;-)

EFI Attached ;-)

do not forget to edit new Serial SMBIOS MacbookPro14,1
And remove the WLAN Kext if not using USB Wlan Stick.

@St1g

Used that Driver from Chris1111

But did not use

CSRUTIL Command working in that config:

NVRAM Add
00000000 - SIP completely enabled
30000000 - Allow unsigned kexts and writing to protected system file locations
67000000 - SIP completely disabled

What makes it work:
NVRAM Delete
7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82 --> 1 --> String --> csr-active-config

This is what you need if installing the USB WLAN driver, did not figure out that Boot to Rescue with OC ?
But hey, it is easier that way ;-)

Better deactivate some of the Trackpad Gestures, than it works flawless in that Problematic Synaptics Field

Audio only Headphone Out for Now, but will figure that out..........

Sleep Works........

I have finally finished my OpenCore setup for HP Probook 450 G5
Removed almost everything from the original rehabman's guide, and now I can confirm that everything is working almost perfect. Also, updated to Big Sur with no problem

Can you share your OpenCore EFI Folder? I am new on this (first time hackintosh). I came to part regarding SSDTs / DSDTs and ACPI and config.plist . I am trying to understand this but some stuff are currently weird for me.

Sure

This can be fixed with SSDT patch
Works, but you have a HP450G5 right ?

so I only integrated the RTC related .aml

Did you manage to make Speaker work ?

I have only Audio on Headphone out, you have no DeviceProperties ->Add-> PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1F,0x3), but in UEFI together with AudioDxe.efi does that work ?

correct

Yes, but check your original DSDT, that it matches my SSDT

If you mean startup chime, then no. AudioDxe.efi can be safely removed

you have no DeviceProperties
I've removed devices from this config, so that it doesn't confuse when setup on similar hardware

This should be added for sound to work
XML:
<key>PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1F,0x3)</key>
            <dict>
                <key>AAPL,slot-name</key>
