Yep, OC documentation is way better than Clover's, but still quite a mess sometimes. Btw, as I can't find any reference, did you manage to get Handoff working? Mine kinda works, meaning that sometimes it does what it should, but most of the times it fails (ex. Safari showing in the dock but then not loading any page). I can't find guides on this topic

EDIT: trying with ExtendBTFeatureFlags TRUE, even if documentation on the functionality provided is poor. It seemed to have solved some problem (mainly safari) but some other functionalities still are not reliable (Apple Watch unlock only worked for an hour 2 days ago...)

I solved the Handoff problem using a different wireless card. Works seamlessly, no need for additional kexts, and can unlock/sudo using apple watch without need to enter password.

can you confirm that unlock with Apple Watch works 100 percent of the time?

I second jkbuha’s statement about that card. I have it as well and yes, 100% working as it should. Apple Watch included.
Ordered. I was using dw1830. but unlock with Apple Watch doesn't work 90 percent of the time and im done with the pin masking. hope the apple watch comes gift wrapped too

Very nice to know. Maybe under my tree in the future.
Quick unrelated question, have anyone tried to lower the base frequency in LFM, and if yes what was the impact on thermal/performance? I'm trying to understand if I should be dedicate time to this or to undervolting. I've tried with 800MHz as this Intel data sheet suggest (intel ark does not have the LFM parameter for my cpu) and so far I've seen a sight improvement in thermals (2-4º in idle and web browsing) but I don't have enough data to know if the battery was impacted.

I did, and it didn't really affect battery life. But I'm still tweaking the CPUFriend vectors at the moment, so YMMV.

Bottom line: 1200/1300 seems to be the best bet.

received the card and installed it. my Locale is set to RoW and im only getting 434mbs tx rate instead of the advertised 1200mbs. are you guys having this issue with this card?

Dear all, I am new to Hackintosh and I have tried to build a Catalina on 9630 - everything seems to be working well except for my sound. Somehow I am not able to get my audio up. I followed the youtube and guide from Mark Perez. Not sure what I did wrong - this is my 7th attempt in installation. Using Clover.

No issues my end. Getting full-rate on tx/rx. Try removing any of the secondary kexts you used for the previous card?

I managed to solve it by removing VoodooHDA. Thanks!
