I finally got the installer up and installed Big Sur on SSD (but with a pink tint screen), took some time (30-40 minutes), rebooted and selected Bug Sur HD, but seems something is wrong, i get somewhat same problem with catalina but was able to fix with -disablegfxfirmware, but not Big Sur.

after sometime it does boot to apple logo with progress bar with pink tint then there is just a pink tint nothing else, im pretty sure the system is ok just that i got the pink tint and can not do anything, no mouse or welcome screen. see pictures

So the pink, or as I call it purple, is a common problem in MacOS. There is a patch script out there, but it didn't work for me on Mojave/Catalina. This is due to monitor EDID information passed back to MacOS upon initialization. I found a hack to force it from YPbPr color space to RGB color space to try and fix that issue, but so far it has been unsuccessful. I used Hackintool and it created the correct profile and resolution options kexts and fixed my issue in Mojave/Catalina with Clover... not sure how it will play out in Big Sur and OC. Search these forums for "purple"

Latest build of Hackintool with some Big Sur fixes...

But is not intel hd 630 supported in Big Sur, if so is there a way to inject It in open core? It runs Th e latest catalina perfectly, I’m new to opencore so not yet familiar with it

I don't think the issue is of the GPU or iGPU, it is an issue of the monitor. Big Sur will run fine on HD4000 graphics, which is way older than hd 630. From what I have observed, this purple mostly appears over HDMI. I have not played with Hackintool on OC yet either.

So are you going to use your GT 710 or iGPU, I don't think you can use both? HDMI or DVI on the GT 710?

Would prefer to use the intel 630, I did plug in another monitor to it and both work but still tint in the 630, they both show up in the system profile.

I believe I read somewhere that it thinks it’s connected to a DisplayPort and using the hdmi port is where the tiny comes from, and there is a way to change it somehow but not sure how to go about it in opencore, but in the end if I need to use the gt710 I will but kinda fun to try.

Hi
I have the same B250M using onboard HD 630 iGPU. Can you share the EFI of your Catalina please.

Thanks :)
