[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

To fix your 10Gbe Ethernet, try adding this in OC Configurator > Kernel > Patch > (See attached image below for details)

Already did that! Thank You!

Hello !!
What can an SSDT-TB3-HackinDROM generated with HackinDROM be useful for? Is it better than SSDT-Z390-DESIGNARE-TB3HP-V4 for example, or is it only for those who have flashed Thunderbolt?
Thank you

*** OcQuirks / FwRuntimeServices Experiment: Conclusion ***

I need some help, I tried to enable native NVRAM and now my hack doesn't boot.

Can you help me delete those 2 files from the shell?

  • OcQuirks-4.efi
  • FwRuntimeServes.efi

You are right — it is primarily for flashed controllers, but can be used on standard controllers as well.

It would be easier to boot from your bootable backup disk, mount EFI partition of the internal SSD, and make changes to Clover configuration.

It is also possible to delete the files from EFI shell. First we need to select the correct file system (fs0: or fs1:, etc). Then we can use “cd” to change directory and “dir” to list directory. The “help” command will show everything.

Managed to remove those 2 files from windows but it's still not booting the system freezes at clover when I boot from Mac Os or Recovery how do I reset the nvram?

Easiest thing is to boot from your bootable backup, but:
  • Press F1 at Clover Boot Menu to show help screen. F11 will reset NVRAM
  • But I’m not sure if that will fix the problem
What changes were made to Clover? Or to the /L/E folder?

If you remove OcQuirks/FwRuntimeServices, you must copy OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi into the Clover drivers folder.

Similarly, if you use OcQuirks/FwRuntimeServices, you must delete OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi.

However, OcQuirks/FwRuntimeServices are both outdated. If you are planning to switch from Clover to OpenCore, then OpenCore 0.6.3 should be used.

But a full bootable backup must be made before making any changes.

Still not booting except those 2 drivers no changes were made, I'll try to restore an EFI backup from windows.

Those two files by themselves can cause boot failure. We must remove OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000 at the same time.

No bootable backup?? Despite the trillions of times I warn people to make bootable backups?

This warning goes to everyone:

If you don’t have a bootable backup, it means you don’t care about the integrity of your system. You don’t care whether your system works or fails. You don’t understand the risks of making changes to a Hackintosh. You don’t value your data in the Information Age, where our digital lives are almost as important as our non-digital lives.

If you don’t have a bootable backup, MAKE ONE NOW.

Yep I have a bootable backup don't worry, I managed to get it running again without that, replaced the files on windows with an old EFI backup (copy/replace) and Explorer++

Still curious why isn't working, I noticed I have problems with the NVRAM because I couldn't change the clover theme, silly enough I followed the guide but the system isn't booting with
  • OcQuirks-4.efi
  • FwRuntimeServes.efi
deleted the OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000 and added the boot arguments, I'm puzzled.

*it's working didn't hit save while closing clover *insert facepalm here*
