Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming build with working NVRAM

Double check your USB ports kext. Make sure that the port where your Bluetooth is connected is set to be USBconnector type = 255.

I updated my OpenCore 0.6.3 EFI folder on post #1 to include SSDT-USBW.aml and USBWakeFixup.kext. These two help with waking. I don't have a USB Keyboard connected to my system (I use an old PS/2 keyboard) but my system wakes with a single mouse click in about 9-10 seconds.

I don't know why leaving Wi-Fi enabled affects your ethernet speed... I have never seen this behavior. I get great speeds to my Synology-clone regardless if Wi-Fi is on or off.

Not sure what you are refering to with USBConnector type = 255. I have been using Hackintool for the USB ports and my output which I exported to the USB ports kext looks like this (Fenvi card connected to HS12):

It appears you already have it set to "internal" which is the same as 255.

I was wanting to activate F_USB2 which is what my TitanRidge card USB pass through is connected to. I am not sure it matters or not, but wanted to try it.

I have the Microsoft Nano Receiver plugged into the USB3 port HS04. If I delete SS04, will the HS04 port still work(just not have USB3 speeds)? I could then have a free port to map HS11 which I think is F_USB2(or is it HS12?).

That will work.

Hello @pastrychef , thank you for your amazing post, as usual.
I just built a new hackintosh for my girlfriend and I purchased this motherboard as I did time ago for my hackintosh (Asus Z370-G Gaming). Let's say I trust your judgements and builds. I have managed to have the iGPU fully working with acceleration and everything seems to work just fine with OC.

However, I'm having troubles overclocking the i7-9700k, any tutorial or video availabe on the web is dedicated for X and Aorus MoBos and, even following the instructions and entering the "almost" same settings, the computer freezes and I'm forced to restart when running the benchs, I can't find some settings shown also in the official Gigabyte's manual (for Aorus). I've set the base frequency at 100MHz, the multiplier at 50 and the voltage at 1.30, I'm trying to reach 5.0 GHz.

Another issue I have is that my MSI Optix MAG341CQ can't display at 100Hz, looking at the specs of the UHD 630, I should be able to go at 100Hz without any issue with an HDMI 2.0 cable.

Thank you for your support.

Does the system run stable with 49 multiplier? What LLC setting are you using?

The problem with this motherboard is that the HDMI port is only HDMI 1.4 spec, not HDMI 2.0. This motherboard is not the best choice for those who intend to use IGPU only...

Thank you for your answer, so far I've:
  1. Set XMP to Profile 1
  2. Disabled Enhance Multi Core Performance
  3. Disabled Vt-d
  4. Set LLC to Turbo
  5. Set CPU Base Clock to 100 MHz
  6. Set CPU Multiplier to 50
  7. Set CPU Vcore to 1.300
Do you think should I try with a different LLC setting?

Personally, I don't like setting LLC too high. It causes a lot of overshoot when CPU is under load and power consumption gets really high.

I suggest trying CPU multiplier 49 and see if the system is stable. If yes, you probably need more voltage to get it stable 50.
