I wouldn't force it. If it doesn't load, try something else. In OC the load order is sometimes important. This is how it works for me (this is in my Yoga C740 though):

Back again with a newly updated EFI.

Changes:
- updated to OC 0.6.3 (Support for 11.0 B10/11.0.1+)
- added AirportItlwm 1.2.0-debug (separated Catalina and BS versions through Min-/MaxKernel)
- removed Ultrabay hotplug patch as Big Sur would instantly kernel panic on boot
- Updated Kexts incl. AppleALC (ALCPlugFix actually works now for some reason)
- disabled Broadcom Kexts (re-enable them and delete/disable itlwm if using Broadcom WiFi)
- Updated OpenCanopy with Big Sur style Icons

What doesn't work:
- Bluetooth (injecting IntelBluetoothFirmware/Injector didn't help, not sure if it's a Big Sur issue)

Haven't tested:
- DP video output
- docking station (USB, Audio, Video)

As always, don't forget to transfer your serial

WARNING: Installer may take up to 15 minutes (no joke) to boot, should be back to normal once fully installed

Here's Big Sur running on my machine!

You need to create your own serials. Before applying the new serial, check if it works on the Apple Check Coverage website. Saves some efforts later on.

thanks, i tried to do some googling to understand what u mean but couldnt really find anything, could u link me to a guide which explains how to create a serial, and how and where to apply it in detail? i am a noob when i comes to this stuff and barely understand clover

For Clover if I remember correctly pick the Clover Configiurator, open a copy of your config.plist, go to SMBIOS section, pick the SMBIOS / Model you want to use, the values will be filled out automagically. Save the file and transfer the SMBIOS section to your final config.plist. Check on the Apple Coverage website if it is a good one, before you decide to use it. Otherwise click "generate new" until you find one that fits.

For OpenCore there is a very good guide here: https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Post-Install/universal/iservices.html#generate-a-new-serial

@Sniki would you mind sharing this guides SSDT/DSDT sources? Would like to compare it against mine (would be great if you can open source it like your clover efi in github)

The EFI and source files will be up on the new repositories once im done with them.

Hello Sha,

I have played a bit with your efi and managed to upgrade my catalina install to big sur. Everything seems to be working (everything i need anyway) but i have no working camera and no blueetoth. I also tried with a fresh install on the same machine (different ssd), still no camera. Do you have the same issue?

Thanks.
