[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Do I have an option to stay with Clover, while/after upgrading to Big Sur or OpenCore is the only way? If it's currently not possible, will it be doable in the near future?
I believe the latest version of Clover finally works on this system, but I have neither downloaded nor tested it so far. It would be best to run OpenCore at this time.

Yes, I found OpenCore 0.6.4, but I downloaded 0.6.3 and I repeated your guide. Now it has disappeared only "ForceSecurebootScheme", at reboot I see "CustomMemory" and "ForceResolution"
CustomMemory and ForceResolution entries can be manually removed from your config.plist. Then those warnings will go away.

@CaseySJ Hello friend. I'll buy Gigabyte GC-TITAN RIDGE VERSION 2 and i don't have the equipment to flash the ROM. What i have to do to be functional? I wil install it at the bottom of motherboard.
Also a friend of mine will be get this card for a Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 7, can you tell me if the procudere will be the same as mine?

Sweet! So does this mean I need to remap the USB's on this system?
No, because USB ports governed by the internal controller (XHC) are already mapped. We do not map Thunderbolt ports separately; they are already mapped by virtue of being defined in the SSDT.

For the GC-Titan Ridge v2.0, please see the three guides highlighted below in the Quick Reference spoiler at the top of Post 1. The procedure is the same for Z390 Designare and Z370 AORUS Gaming 7. However, depending on the PCIe slot you use, the root port may need to be modified. Common root ports are RP09 and RP21, but we can determine the actual root port by running IORegistryExplorer after installing the card.

If the motherboard does not have a Thunderbolt header (THB_C) then we need to connect a jumper wire between the top and middle pins of the 5-pin J1 header. Simply hold the card vertically with the PCIe pins facing the floor, then jumper the top and middle pins of the J1 header.
  • Designare Z390 does not have THB_C, so the jumper is needed.
  • Z370 AORUS Gaming 7 has a THB_C header, so the jumper is not needed. But GC-Titan Ridge must be connected to THB_C header. Then enable Thunderbolt in BIOS.

Can you update the guide please?
sorry for that
Will do soon.

Please note that the Customize function now seems to require VENDOR and DEVICE names. But if we only want to change BusID and/or UniqueID, we should be able to leave VENDOR and DEVICE empty.

If I leave VENDOR/DEVICE empty and click Compile, I see "Compile failed!".

So I'm on Catalina and trying to make the switch to OC for Big Sur. I've tried following the both guides now using the newest I think 0.6.3 and with both I keep getting the same result;

Apple logo, no progress bar, and it's just stuck. Do I need to update to Big Sur for OC to work?

Trying to boot -v next... will update in a sec

Please check if you are running BIOS F9g or newer. Then go to BIOS Setup and look for BOOT --> CFG-Lock. If it is enabled, disable it.
