Hi folks!

Did anyone manage to run new Clover r5123 (and above) with Quirks and OpenCore integration?

And did anyone manage to get battery status updates?

Could you please share working EFI?

Your config is perfect
Have you tried to boot big sur
If yes could you kindly share efi

I have a Yoga 910 fully working with Catalina. Even the screen rotates automagically. If you wish I'll give you the EFI, it works very well for me so far.

Hi Edd1024,

Could you tell us, what did you do to make the gyro sensor to rotate the screen automatically work for you?

Thanks a lot

I might be wrong but from how I got it is that the SHUB device does that. It works without any software. Actually I turned it off because I don't need it. So just like any I2C device the SHUB device needs setup. If it's too complicated try this little app, to me it offers more flexibility and I can deactivate it if I need to.

Hi,

I answer you in order to your questions:

- The latest version of Clover is r5126. I have not been able to use a version higher than r5107 to load Catalina.

- Yes, there are several EFIs posted in this thread that have it.

- Yes, I'll upload mine again, get 100% operation with Catalina except the automatic rotation of the screen.

Regards

Hi,

This morning I tried to do a direct update from Catalina, but my current configuration and version of Clover is not able to load the update. I have reverted the whole system with Carbon Copy Cloner.

We should try to generate a bootable usb with the latest version of Clover and the quirks encrustations for opencore since if I'm not wrong, they are necessary to load BigSur with Clover.

Hi,

Thanks for your answer. Yes, I already have that program installed and I use it to rotate the secondary monitor that I connect to the computer, but I am interested that it can be rotated automatically.

Could you please guide us on how you did it or post your current EFI with auto-rotation enabled?

Thanks a lot

I think it should work oob with VoodooI2C 2.3.2 or even 2.2.4. I'm not sure what happened after that but I checked right now if it works and it didn't until I disabled the SHUB.aml. So try those two options if it works. I'm pretty confident 2.2.4 is working with the SHUB.aml and later versions might not need it.

Hi

In the VoodooI2C releases I don't see the 2 versions you mention, only 2.2 and 2.3 where the latter is the one I have. I'm going to try disabling shub.aml for yoga 910 and see if it works, if not please, I would appreciate if you could pass us your current kext folder.

VoodooI2C

Thanks a lot

Hi,

I have gotten an EFI with OpenCore capable of loading Catalina 10.15.7 and also the final version of Big Sur 11. When I load Catalina the graphic acceleration stops working but everything else works correctly, wifi, bluetooth, sound, etc. With Big Sur I don't have graphic acceleration either, so the touch screen doesn't work either. The trackpad doesn't recognize it as such, but I can still perform all the normal gestures.

During installation, it is not necessary to use an external mouse, as the trackpad or touchpad works perfectly.

With this OC EFI therefore, it would be possible to perform a direct update from our latest version of Catalina 10.15.7 to Big Sur 11.

I leave a test capture:

Let's see if someone cheers up and finds how to fix the graphical acceleration and with it also the sleep mode.

In order to use the intel hd 620 graphics of the equipment, I had to use the AAPL, ig-platform-id recommended by dortania and perform a spoof with the device-id:
