That is OpenCore 0.6.1.

Try downloading OpenCore 0.6.3 zip file I posted (link is in Quick Reference spoiler at the top of Post 1). You can copy your existing config.plist into that EFI folder.

Thx¡¡ works great now¡

Hello @CaseySJ

I already installed the BIG SUR, everything is running perfectly. But I would like to know what is the last update you made at EFI. I tried to locate the post where to download and I can't find it, because there are countless pages. Could you give me the link where this is your last update, with OC 0.63? Thanks

Super. Thanks. If I can help with something, even testing, just let me know.
i may have found my problem, namely:
  • Each time I downloaded the full 12GB macOS Big Sur installer, the disk image SharedSupport.dmg appeared to be corrupted. Using Disk Utility --> Image --> Verify, I confirmed that the file's computed checksum did not match the pre-calculated checksum.
  • Therefore, I used my 2020 MacBook Pro to download the file (via App Store) and this time the checksums agreed.
  • I am in the process of creating the USB install disk.
  • I do not know why the file downloaded from my Test Bench Z390 Designare is corrupted every time...
Lesson:
  • Try downloading the full 12GB Big Sur installer from a different computer if possible, ideally from a real Mac (but not strictly necessary).

Hello @Rag

The links are always added to Quick Reference spoiler at the top of Post 1.

I would like to know how we do to update the drivers is there an automatic way like on CLOVER or do we have to do it manually?

Hello @ripe_md,

Nice to hear from you. Regarding Native Display Brightness, please try the following:
  • Disable the two patches from OpenCore Configurator --> Kernel --> Patch as shown:
    View attachment 496184
  • Then try installing Acidanthera's Brightness Keys kext.
  • It may be necessary to press fn-F1 and fn-F2 if F1 / F2 don't work by themselves.
If this does not work, then another alternative is Monitor Control which can be downloaded from here:
Thank you for the suggestion, but that also doesn't solve the problem. As described in my initial posting it works flawlessly with Monitor Control and I just continue using it. :)

Hi CaseySJ,
I just upgraded to Big Sur, I did the passage from Clover to OpenCore 0.6.4, BIOS F9G, everything went well, only two problems: reboot with three "OCS: No scheme for..."but it restart normally and works; Davinci 16 with two "Failed to..." after all video are at double speed. Any idea?

If there are two Thunderbolt controllers, then two Thunderbolt SSDTs are needed, but each SSDT must refer to the correct root port of the controller.

Internal controller is at RP05 on Designare Z390.

As for GC-Titan Ridge, its root port depends on the slot into which it's installed. We can determine this by examining IORegistryExplorer.
#27,320

I had done that already but for whatever reason the SSDT for the Titan Ridge is creating additional ports. For whatever reason it is, and I don't know how to fixed that.

Did anyone mange to get macOS to boot with SecureBootModel set to Default on this motherboard?
