Do you have this

CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD?

I don't have this.
Yes I have this UPS from CyberPower.
I understand now, I thought your commander pro was also UPS..
I guess Big Sur does not make the difference between the corsair Fan controller & UPS, That is so weird  This is a Major Bug!
Have you tried plugging your controller into another USB port?
In case you need it I posted my EFI earlier in this thread. #550

Slot 1: IEEE1394
Slot 2: TB Alpine Ridge
Slot 3: RME Audio Card
Slot 4: Inateck KT5001
Slot 5: Asus Hyper M.2
Slot 7: GPU RX580

Hi My Friend
Can you tell Which USB3 to USB2 Adapter are you using?
I see in Amazon lots there.

Sorry for the misunderstanding : I still use 1503 x64 same as yours ( just checked now) : I use first gen. of CPUs so no need to update for me. ;)
Big Sur works fine for me too.
Thanks. I'll be getting back to you because I remember KGP had set things up (just a selection or two) different than how you have things set up in the BIOS, but once I'm completely done draining my water cooled system to take out the 2 older Vega Frontier Cards, then I'll replace them with the 2 water blocked Radeon VII cards I just put together.

I was able to test one of them but now have to test both of them on my test bench (as I have two of these systems). So once that's all done I'll finally have set up that I've been waiting for the last year. As I wasn't able to upgrade beyond 10.15 because it was my cards all along. I'm super amped that the Radeon VII cards actually work ALL 3 x 28" 4K Asus monitors that I have. I should work even better with 2 cards.

By the way, just found out that Apple is now monitoring everything you do on your system on Big Sur (not on Catalina), despite using Little Snitch to protect you from all the snooping that the marketing companies are doing. The coders at Apple found a way around Little Snitch... for now. I'm sure the guys at Objective Development are going to get around that soon. Aside from that, I am SOOOOOO grateful to find your post here, as I thought I was doomed not to find a work around with my existing system. Now that I used your EFI folder my existing system was able to install Big Sur with NO ISSUES! I can't THANK YOU ENOUGH! Seriously.

Best Backup Power Supply EVER!!! I have 4 of them. Had them for years. Once they die though all you have to do is buy the replacement batteries on Amazon. Just get on there and type in: "CSB HRL1234WF2FR 12 V Battery." That battery set (and yes you have to purchase two of them), is even BETTER than the CyberPower replacement batteries and have a better warranty. Hope that helps.

Same issue for me with GC-Titan Ridge Thunderbolt 3 NHI when we use the stock firmware and DROM.
There is way to unlock full functionality by flashing the chip.
See on this post #3
Keep me informed my friend ;)

Very fine and interesting that you will use 2 water blocked Radeon VII cards.
Keep me informed when all of your settings are working correctly.

I agree with you that Big Sur is more intrusive with personal datas.

There is a simple and free app called LuLu a firewall that aims to block unknown outgoing connections, protecting your privacy and your Mac ! :

( Thanks @Ellybz to point me this useful App)

Trying to do a fresh reinstall onto a new NVME with Big Sur using OC 0.6.3 on my Asus Prime Deluxe II and keep getting hung up on "Device is write locked".

No other errors in the logs, but it's just been sitting there for 30 min or so. I looked around, but could only find one other instance. Anyone else seen this yet?

After 5 restart the installation has been successfully completed. I recreated the config.plist according to sample.plist(0.6.3) and redownload the new 11.0.1 copy from the link below; http://swcdn.apple.com/content/down...x1n2wpf8rik5agns2z43ikqu/InstallAssistant.pkg

If you get any error while first reboot or second like "an error occurred while..." Just manually reboot the system and keep going the installation.

I attached the my EFI it has GPRW patch for sleep issue.

the system works flawlessly with new Davinci Resolve Studio 17

Bios version 3105
