If you have a working version of OpenCore 6.2 or higher it should load.

I have a fully working version with OC 6.2 and last time I tried to upgrade to bug sur I won a full reinstall from time machine....

Bug Sur indeed. Wasn't that a beta version? Even so I would expected it to work if kexts were updated.

Any luck? I am on original clover of ModMike from the initial posts with 580 gpu for better compatibility. I am also curious if I can do a normal update from System Preferences.

So on the home page they are saying opencore 6.3 or higher. I know that's not absolutely neccesary from my own experience but there you go.

Yes I saw that thx. For sure I will upgrade OC to 6.3 next time I will have enough time to spend 1 day to recover from time machine after a fail upgrade to Big Sur
Note I have a 2019 MBP 13" and the upgrade from Catalina last version to Big Sur was not so smooth !
I had to reinstall my bind9 and reset the nvram (preview.app was freezing on each picture opening during 1/2 s, no more sound etc...)

Update! I successfully installed Big Sur. It took ages (more than 1 hour!), and the computer seems to be hang 2 times at least.
Everything seems to work except WiFi. I read a workaround, gonna try it

And you did it how? Updating to OC6.3? Maybe share your EFI folder for those who don’t have the know how to roll their own.

Yep I updated OC to 6.3 first. Here My EFI. Wifi is still not working.

You have to block (or remove) AirPortBrcm4360_Injector.kext in BigSur
So I removed this injector but it change nothing. I also try to remove the whole fixup kext, same.
