I know that clover r5123 and Big Sur are both in beta, but I was hoping someone here may have some pointers as to how to fix this.

Specifically, when I try to download an app or an update from the App Store, the button to download/update for the app in question turns into the circle with a square in the center, but the download never starts. The apps are showing with a progress bar in Launchpad and cannot be opened from there, but work just fine from Applications folder / Spotlight. I did not have this problem pre-Big Sur, so the issue is likely due to some changes due to the update. All other Apple services work fine for me (iCloud/iMessage/FaceTime/AirDrop/DRM/Handoff/Continuity).

I have changed my SN, SmUUID and my Board SN, changed the model (currently using iMac 19-1), but no luck. I have also signed out/back in, erased all the .plist files related to the App Store, and tried other solutions such as the ones outlined here.

In the console, sometimes the log show that the connection is refused by Apple when attempting to initiate the download. (I haven't been able to find the error message again).

Any help would be really appreciated !

Thanks

Edit: Seems the person I replied to had their post removed

Get on the Open Core train in fact here is a mini guide on how to configure OC for your Mother board:

Unfortunately, I came from OC. I had clover until 10.15.2, then I used OC, however I have been unable to get OC 0.6.0 and above to boot. Clover gave me absolutely no issues this time around (though OC is the bootloader in this case, so evidently it works with my build). I'll check out the guide you mention and see if that works for me on a USB EFI. Thanks!

Hi, I have the same problem. Can't seem to find anything and changing to OC is not on option at the moment. Anyone have any ideas?

I have the same issue, final 11.0.1 and Clover 5126. I think I will try to migrate to OC.
Thinking about it too but the conversion process seems like a pain.

Same problem here, did you manage to find any solution?

The only solution I've found was switch to opencore as this is a clover only problem it seems!
