[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

I just finished modifying the config to mine. I have been really wanna try out the new wifi support recently but the instruction is a bit confusing:
1. Besides adding kext to kernel section, is there something else I have to do?
2. I heard securebootmodel, forcesecurebootscheme, applesecureboot all has to related to this? I left everything to your default settings, If I wanna try out the wifi, do I need to mess with these three parameters?
3. I have been using your USBports.kext since day 1. I also disabled Xhciportlimit cause I am not using USBInjectAll. Do you mind taking a look at this?

I use sleep a lot, most of the time it works. However, sometimes the screen would just go black but the computer would stay on (with little power usage but awake none the less). Is it because of my USBPorts.kext that I copied from yours?
Hi, I too struggled with wifi and bluetooth for a while. From the post you refer to, download Airportitlwm.kext and Intel Bluetoothinjector.kext. Place them in EFI folder/Kexts. Open OpenCore Configurator and see under Kernel that they are activated. Save and close that app. Open your config.plist in ProperTree app (Excellent free tool) and under Kernel add two more posts so it looks like in my pics. Now they should be activated. This works on my NUC8i3 and very well to. However I am not a computer pro so no guarantee it will work on yours, but after reading about this it seems to be the way to go.

It won't work...I haven't updated that folder to account for the needed changes. I suggest if you want to use Big Sur to change to the
Opencore Bootloader

Just upgraded my NUC8i7BEH from Catalina to Big Sur using the OC 0.6.3 EFI and SecureBootModel set to Default, downloaded via Software Update. All smooth, just minor caveats:

- Installation cannot be left unattended. After the first reboot you need to manually select macOS Installer from the OC menu as OC does not autoboot this

- The Intel wifi kext (if used) needs replacing with the Big Sur compatible kext

In my history of hackintoshing this was by far the smoothest/easiest major upgrade. OpenCore really is astonishing. Big thanks also to @Leesureone for the base EFI!

I think this is the moment to upgrade my rock solid Clover config nuc8i7beh running super stable latest Catalina to OC 6.3, I know this has been answered before, but, is there any simple step by step guide to use @Leesureone OC efi files to do the transition without the necessity of becoming an OC expert?

Unfortunately, I don't have all the time and energy to learn in depth OC right now I just want to know if is there and easy way.

Thanks

Not really. Back up your data. Use of make a USB Boot disk, Mount the hidden EFI Partition on it and copy and paste my EFI folder there. Boot of it and if it works then you are good and can update the serial numbers using a .plist editor or take your chances and use OpenCore Configurator. The last step is copying the finished EFI folder over to your hard drive.
