hi,
Can you share your EFI files? thank you
1) I have updated the ROg-Rampage-vie-apex-Asus-3105. Cap (Apple Logo) BIOS,
2) The BIOS is also set (ASUS BIOS X299 Configuration)
3) 6.0 EFI(djlild7hina) and others' rampage VI Apex Big Sur EFI was directly updated from 10.15.6 to 11.0.1, and the update failed.
4)PlatformInfo Mac Pro 7.1
I hope you can share your EFI to the forum, thank you.
i will update to big sur and share the EFI

Not sure what I'm doing wrong. It boots installer, initializes graphics, I see a mouse cursor on black/white apple loading, and then it reboots.

I'm on 0.6.3 and believe I have everything correct. Can someone please help? Thank you.

Opencore 0.6.3 and latest kext, everything is working a part from:

1. DRMs with Netflix and Prime Video broken (but it seems to be a known issue even in real Macs)

2. I got a Prime x299-a mobo with Realtek s1220A audio chip, latest OC and kexts, whenever I use my hack to answer or make a phone call via my iPhone I got a kernel panic:

Very good,

For Prime Video I am using Firefox instead of Safari and everything works fine.

About the iPhone call, I have never tried.

My post seems to have been removed so I'm trying again:

Dear friends, trying to migrate from Clover to Open Core before trying to install Big Sur.

So far I've managed to boot into Catalina with Open Core, but the system randomly reboots (kernel panic I suppose). I've notice this particularly happens when trying to open the font list in Photoshop or when in the final stages of Geeckbench... has any of you experienced this ?

I've also tried to install Big Sur, but the installation stalls at one point (check image attached), I'm also attaching my OC folder so you guys can check it out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, please find my configuration below:

CPU : i9-9900x
Mobo : Gigabyte Designare EXII x299
RAM : 32 Gb
GPU : Sapphire Vega 64 on slot 1

Thank you,

A.

Trying to do a fresh reinstall onto a new NVME with Big Sur using OC 0.6.3 on my Asus Prime Deluxe II and keep getting hung up on "Device is write locked".

No other errors in the logs, but it's just been sitting there for 30 min or so. I looked around, but could only find one other instance. Anyone else seen this yet?
