Hi all I’m at the end of my tether three weeks trying to make this work now!

I have to upgrade from Yosemite for compatibility. I have downloaded Sierra from Apple but..

initially I was stuck as the incomplete installer message kept appearing, I can’t even remember how I fixed it, but finally I did, writing something in terminal :/ I think this might be the cause of the next issue..

so unibeast working, I can get to the clover boot screen..but no further. If I try to boot from the USB, it just hangs on the Apple logo. I try -x, etc it gives the “no entry” sign and falls back to the clover screen.

I’ve tried literally every boot option, nothing. I can...just about boot to my back up Yosemite copies, but it’s random, graphics is bust, wifi lost etc.

I’ve tried many many bios settings, copied from sucessful builds, tried removing the graphics card.. tried rebuilding the usb with unibeast...I’m really loosing it, there seems to be no comprehensible guide to clover...some say..just copy so and so...but without saying what and from where...

I did great with chameleon, I had a very good build for years...but clover....I hate clover, so so much..please help?

z77 ds3h, i5, 16gb ram, 660ti tears...many many tears.

Try removing your 660 Ti and set your BIOS to use the integrated HD3000 4000 instead. Then give the Sierra install another try.

I’ve tried dropping clover onto copied drives, sometimes they boot, kind of badly..but I can’t instal Sierra, it’s always Yosemite
I know that many people bought and still use that z77-DS3H. Try to find a guide that gives you a custom config.plist for Sierra on your hardware. If you get the right .plist in your Clover folder the odds are better for reaching the installer.

Sorry I don’t understand. I’ve ended up trying the terminal instal command instead of Unibeast. Although I goofed as I ended up rewriting the SSD instead of the usb, it’s currently working, but en-route, I discovered the flaw in Sierra and had to fix in terminal again?? What the hell is going on with Apple? So.. it’s currently installing to a clone drive. What do I need to do when that’s done? Re write the EFI again? Set the config in clover configuration? Or does multibeast work afterwards? I’ve been so thrown by this change to clover, it seems impossibly difficult, nothing in the guides is working..

finally..I read Sierra is flawed.what is the highest version I should go to with this set up? I mainly use Premiere Pro, but need to run FCP again soon. So I guess a new graphics card at least?

Ok, I got it working...for a while...but..randomly it won’t reboot. The old trick of mounting to a laptop (sata to usb) works for a few boot ps then crashes...I tried cloning to another partition, same issue, boots for a few times, randomly fails, and always fails if I install any software..

I’m installing via multibeast, and then clover configurator...even the unibeast won’t ever boot, I’ve tried several OS X versions too.

pretty sure the bios setting are ok, tried many “safe” versions, resetting etc too.

I’ve never had so many problems, clover is killing me.

I now know where to find the plists, please, if anyone has the time to help me out as I need to edit video ASAP to help out a local music venue.

why does it work if mounted briefly to a genuine Mac? What’s the piece of this clover puzzle I’m missing, also.....still no sound, tried many fixes.(bluetooth works, otherwise zero outputs)
