Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + i5-10400 + AMD RX 580

I turned off all SSDT and the problem still persists... 'ACPI BIOS ERROR'
Choose Windows in BIOS screen is OK as before.

Those two SSDTs have no effect in Windows so they should be okay. However, because OpenCore allows us to toggle SSDTs on and off individually, please try disabling all SSDTs, then enable them one by one. If problem persists even with all SSDTs disabled, then the problem lies somewhere else.

By the way, which version of OpenCore are you using?

Please try a CMOS Reset and configure BIOS parameters. Then try booting Windows again through OpenCore with all SSDTs still turned off.

OK, thanks for quick reply! Then I need to switch back to Logitech MX. Could be worse ;-)
Good plan. Logitech wireless keyboards and mice (with Logitech Unifying Receiver) are extremely compatible:
  • They work in BIOS
  • They work in OpenCore
  • They work in macOS
  • They work after waking from sleep
  • They just work

Posted from my Logitech MX Master 3 for Mac. :)

Hi, thank you again for the good job.
Is it normal that in the new OC config-AMD-GPU.plist, SSDT NVRAM.aml is not activated by default? It was in 0.6.2

I apologize for what might be slightly off topic, but I'm desperate. I ordered the parts on page 1 (except a I7 10700) and have have been trying to assemble them. Right now I'm at the stage with the cpu, 1 stick m2 storage, 1 memory stick. When I hook up the power, I get a brief flash and nothing else. I've swaped motherboards, cpus, power supplies, M2 storage and memory DIMM. No difference. What am I doing wrong?

(for reference, I had no trouble building the flash drive for doing the install, but obviously I cant do that until I can get something to turn on.)

And yes I tried googling for this issue and got nowhere...

Most likely if you follow the manual you can diagnose the error. 1 memory stick sounds odd though.
