New Clover Release v5.1 r5123/4/5/6/7 - Big Sur Support

I have 3 pcs

One based on x79 chipset, one on x299 and one on z77
I have not been able to get them to boot with any new version of clover.
In the Quirks section I don't know what to check for each platform.

I have tried with virtualsmc and delete fakesmc, also to delete datahubdxe.efi and copy openruntime.efi

Does anyone know how to configure correctly to continue using clover in Catalina and in the future Big Sur?
Have the same problem, when I try to update my Clover 5120 to 5125 :/ Cannot boot.

Please refer the below screenshots of what i have in UEFI Drivers, Kexts, APCI Patches and Quirks in Clover configurator. I also have attached my config.plist for your convenience, i can see you have a CoffeLake CPU similar to the one that i have so my config.plist and my EFI Clover files can help you.

Thanks for this - using those settings for my Coffee Lake i5 9600KF in Clover Configurator allowed me to finally install and boot r5125, after I had borked my system last week with 5123.

Still, I'll be hesitant to install Big Sur on my system until the new versions of Unibeast and Multibeast come out for the install.

hello to configure Quirks by chipset we can be based on these references opencore https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/prerequisites.html
put me either after clover 5123 it does not work I do not know what change they made but broke something or there is an undocumented option that must be activated for the boot to do correctly

Thank you. I used the quirks section of your config.plist and use opencoretime.efi frome Clover r5125 installation.

Finally, I successes with v5125. So I am ready to update Big Sur!! I hope this go smoothly without clean install.

Hey buyJoey,

Can you provide a quick workaround about your update process? I am struggling to make my Hackintosh to work with clover 5125.

Sorry to disappoint you but you are not ready. Big Sur beta 10 has introduced some further changes that will have to be incorporated into the bootloaders. OC 0.6.3alpha has just been fixed hence Clover devs will have to follow.

6.2 boots it just fine and boot loaders are updated all the time.

Anyway.... the most probably thing is that Big Sur will be released November the 17, so on that date OC 0.6.3 will be already released since OC Devs release its versions in the first week of every month, so the case, Clover Devs will have another week to follow and everybody (Clover, OC and Us) will be ready for Big Sur tested in the GM version.

Well, I did everything what Tony said in this thread except vitualSmc kext swapping. But if you already uses VirtualSmc, you are ok with it. Just add Quirk options and swap your Aptiomemoryfix files to OCquirk and OpenRuntime. V5123-5124 didn't work by memory panic but V5125 are working.
