Does anyone know the cheapest processor to run with ryzentosh? I want to try out a low cost processor before upgrading the cores. For the AM4 socket is it the Ryzen 3 1200? As I think someone has mentioned, hopefully there is a buyer's guide in the works. I've decided to try out the B550 vision D.

Currently any Ryzen model will work. Stay away from the APUs though. Not only does the iGPU not work but it causes audio issues.

I look forward to the day when you can port unsupported hardware to MACOS, e.g. ampere nvidia for machine learning

Does Apple Silicon ARM CPU also includes integrated graphics? Or is it a CPU only chip?

Apple Silicon has integrated Graphics.

Anyway good move by tonymac.
Adjusting to the moment and the circumstances.

I’m not an AMD fan, that includes CPU and GPU but I guess I support the move.

Not that it will make any difference Intel/AMD in a few years.

I just build a very cheap hackintosh with spare parts. I went from the best most expensive hackintosh to the cheapest ever. Thanks Mr. Cook.

My main system is running Windows.
I'm just waiting on nvidia 3090 to arrive.

Something Mac owners will never get to experience.

Big Navy

I am upgrading my i9-9900K macOS Hackintosh with the Radeon 6900XT, which is on par with the RTX 3090.
I will keep the Radeon 64 Liquid Cooling in my System as third GPU.
Even if I were a Windows-User I would not buy NVIDIA.

Shouldn't you wait and see if Apple will include RDNA2 drivers in macOS?
