Thunderbolt 3 Modified Firmware Custom SSDT Discussion

Pin 3 and 5 will start the card pin 1 is the closest to the PCI blade. The titan ridge flash will not work with the alpine ridge card at least it didnt when I tried it. However, there are alpine ridge flashes as well. Depending on your needs you might only need an SSDT...
Right, thanks, that was my silly typo, I meant GC Titan Ridge 2.0. That's why I referred to NVM50 firmware.

I use NVM33 on my Titan Ridge V1.0 and I believe that Casey said he was at one point going to test out NVM33 on his z490 vision D board... Not sure if they did or not. But the default to try would be NVM50 but if you get some strange behaviors you might try and change it out to NVM33.

Hi, I got a Titan Ridge 2.0 card, flashed successfully but am noticing differences between the SSDT I had before flashing, one that I made from hackindrom, and one that I acquired somewhere along the way.

All of them have been adapted to my system (_SB_.PC01.BR1A.PEGP) but I am not sure which one is correct. Can anyone plase guide me to the right SSDT starting point?

Thank you in advance!

I do not have a 2.0 so I am not 100% but this guild explains it better then I can. If that is your root path then you should modify it in the SSDT using MaciASL.

I have modified but I am not sure which starting SSDT I should be using. Some have the 3.1 controller at XHC3, others XHC4, and so on. Some have hotplug capable set to 'Zero' others to 'One'

My mistake forgot the guide:

Use that guide.

Hey guys. I have a working flashed TR but I’m tired of the KPs and reboots on cold boot (with my UAD satellites and Apollos). Is the Alpine Ridge better in this scenario? What is your experience when comparing AR and TR???

Video pass threw does not work on a flashed alpine ridge. In the system that does not have a TB3 header on the motherboard, it needs a device plugged in on a reboot for Hotplug, and networking to work. In my system, with the header, the alpine worked as well as the Titan except for the aforementioned video pass threw issue. I do not have any UAD so I can not comment on them causing KP's.
