Not that I know. You could use High Sierra with the older GTX 1060/1070 etc. and the web drivers installed but not the 1660.

Not in Mojave. You'd want to use Catalina 10.15.6 to get driver support for that.

Yeah, expect some graphics glitches once in a while. Drivers are still a WIP.

Only with Sierra/High Sierra when you install the web drivers from Nvidia. A 1080 8GB won't work with Mojave or Catalina. At least not well enough to get any graphics acceleration. I wouldn't describe that as "working fine."
