[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

That's how it gets the name Windoze! :)

Joking aside, this thread is primarily about macOS and somewhat limited to multi-boot situations. The problem you're seeing in Windows can be reported to Sabrent. But try different things first such as ejecting and reconnecting the Sabrent drive.
Great, thx. Sorry to mix-up “windoze” here, :) .

I was able to get my third monitor working on my XFX 5700 XT by switching to 7,1! However, I am getting this error message on boot:

But it seems mostly cosmetic.

I wanted to touch base and see if anyone has tried out the 7,1 definition and If theres anything I should be aware of? And if there are known issues, if theres away to determine why these ports work in 7,1 and how to patch them for 19,1?

Mystery Hackintool issue with Mojave: Is it possible that kexts are loading without detection?
IIRC, with USBInjectAll 0.7.3, my Bluetooth and WiFi would not work. v0.7.1 seems to work best for me:

Good to know!

To silence those memory module warnings, we need to add the MacProMemoryNotificationDisabler kext in this post:

This happens if the old kext is still cached in the System folder. Because this is Mojave, some questions:
  • Do you have any Hackintosh kexts in /Library/Extensions?
  • Or are you in the process of removing them from /Library/Extensions and keeping them only in CLOVER/kexts/Other or OC/Kexts?
  • If you are in fact removing them from /Library/Extensions (or even replacing them), try these commands in Terminal:
Bash:
sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions
sudo touch /Library/Extensions
  • Then reboot.

There aren't any OC or Clover-related extensions in L/E nor S/L/E. But I ran the command anyway. There are no stray EFI's to mount except as noted.
Kexts are showing as folders, which is super annoying.
Does anyone know how to fix this in Terminal?

Update: Nevermind, I just wiped the SSD, reinstalled Mojave, then got everything back with MA.

In a bid to further improve my new workspace. I had to move my studio recently and reduce its footprint a lot, I'm trying to get Sidecar working, as well as get Ableton Link to work with my iPad over USB for some music apps. This now only works over the network.

I've successfully update OC to 0.6.1, but now realise that to achieve what I ant, I'll need to change the SMBIOS to iMac19.1 instead of iMacPro 1.1.
What is the safest way to change the SMBIOS without breaking the installation?

Please see Post 1: Sidecar Patch for Unsupported Macs. This is in the section “Contributed Files and Tips”.

Apple Store is okay now, after deleting the Network preferences file?

IOReg file shows that your USB 2 and 3 ports are (a) configured properly and (b) fully working.

All is working now. Thanks for your precious help!
Btw I’m experiencing a kind of freeze at boot. As soon as I login, the system prepares startup items and I see some icons in the dock bouncing but then it freezes for a couple minutes.
Mouse pointer moves but cannot interact
