Regarding USB ports, please download and run IORegistryExplorer and select File —> Save As..., then post the saved file.

@zipb : if it is a SATA SSD, it could be a bad cable... or (I hope it’s not the case) a failing SSD? What do you think CaseySJ?

I checked my boot NVME SSD the other day. Looked normal.
I changed a lot(BIOS version, Clover etc.) to see if I could get rid of the problem. But it's still there, though a bit less frequent.

Apple Store is okay now, after deleting the Network preferences file?

IOReg file shows that your USB 2 and 3 ports are (a) configured properly and (b) fully working.

Should be en0 for working iMessage etc... There is a preference file to delete somewhere (network.plist?).
Found: sudo rm /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist

Oops, you already did it, disregard...

In the OpenCore 0.5.7 mini-guide, it suggests we should create a unique value for ROM. However, the newest guides for 0.6.0 and 0.6.1 don't mention this specifically -- only that we should change SMBIOS, Serial Number, System UUID, and the MLB Serial number.

In my Clover's config.plist, I have the ROM value set to UseMacAddr0. Should I change the value in OpenCore to correspond to the mac address of en0, which I assume is the MacAddr0 referenced by Clover?

I read on ****** that your Apple ID could be banned if you don't use a unique ROM value, and want to be sure that doesn't happen now that I've moved to OpenCore.

It is certainly a good idea to generate a unique ROM value. In the next OpenCore update I'll add this extra step, which is quite trivial to do in OpenCore Configurator as follows:

It’s always a good idea to retest previous baselines. OC 0.6.0 is still available for download from this thread. Let’s check 0.6.0 again.

Hi Casey,

Ok no worries any all. I am about to retest 0.6.0 however I noticed that when following instructions as per the below image, OCC only shows an option for 0.6.1 for the profile. Is this an issue? I am using the latest OCC.

I have created the USB and followed all instructions, with the only deviation being the 4 SSDT's required for my AORUS Xtreme MB (As per the Z390 AORUS Xtreme Owners Micro Guide) These replaced the 4 SSDT's that come with your zip file. Now to test 0.6.0 to see if my Aquantia AQtion port is back.
