Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming build with working NVRAM

Sorry to ask a question that may well have been answers already in this thread....I'm on Opencore 0.5.9, all working great. What's the process of upgrading to Opencore 0.6.0?

My EFI is very similar to that in post #1, but with modified USBKext with power.

Do I simply download the EFI for Opencore 0.6.0 and update the config file? I cannot use my current config.plist?

Cheers.

Download the OpenCore 0.6.0 EFI from post #1.
Open the config.plist with your preferred plist editor.
Enter your current Serial, Board Serial, UUID, and MAC address.
Enable WhateverGreen (you need it for your RX 580).
Replace the USBPorts-with-power.kext with the one you created (make sure to use the same filename.)
Replace your existing EFI with the new one.
Done.

Please try with this EFI.

Remember to connect your monitor to the motherboard video out. Also, you may need to try different IGPU settings in BIOS. Specifically, you may need to set IGPU to Primary and don't forget to allocate at least 64MB for DVMT Prealloc.

Edit:
Please download again. I made a change...
So I replaced my 8700K with a 9900K and i can't seem to get this to work now :( do i need to edit anything in the last EFI you priovided me to make this boot? right now i'm just getting the NO symbol when booting.

No change necessary to the EFI.

Please boot in verbose mode and post a picture of where it's getting stuck.

Here is the last readout i see before the screen goes black

Only other changes I made outside of the upgrade from the i7 8700k to the i9 9900k was that I installed a larger AiO cooler that is now using F_USB1 for what i can only assume is data and RGB. I just wanted to throw that in, in case it's relevent.

Graphics problem.

Since you are using IGPU only, you have to use the correct ig-platform-id and device-id depending on the version of macOS you are running. Please see post #4 and post #1360 for more info.

ahh ok i'm using the EFI you sent me a bit back which worked in the 8700k system with iGPU. I would assume the ig-platform-id is different for the 9900k?

Edit: attached zip of OC EFI from previous post :)

It should be the same unless you are running a different version of macOS.
