Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + i5-10400 + AMD RX 580

@CaseySJ thanks for the solution to changing the Disk Label in OC Picker, it worked for me.

Another thing I've run into is occasionally when I restart or turn on CPU and load into MacOS I will get the following screen immediately following selection.

Then I have to hold the power button to shutdown and turn back on. I then select MacOS again in the OC Picker and it will load with no issue. Any idea what could be causing the issue?

Edit: I recently cloned my MacOS to a new Sabrent NVMe after previously using a Samsung NVMe. I will report back if I get the error again.

I also get this from time to time when booting. I also got a Samsung NVMe. Does it still happen on your Sabrent?

thanks CaseySJ, yeah just tried with Apollo Twin and it work including hot plug, but is very strange... why the Apollo DUO not work, maybe it need complete reset, please any suggesting.

OpenCore 0.6.1 has been released. Will update the EFI soon. Meanwhile, could it be that we no longer need FakePCIID for Comet Lake on-board high-def audio (HDA)?

EDIT: Confirmed. FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext is no longer needed. Updated ZIP coming soon.

Hi @Ayvan for the sake of clarity: Did you set your Vcore to 'fixed vcore' then set the voltage to 1.200v?

Thanks!
CPU Upgrade -> "Gaming Profile" adds 100 MHz to turbo boost frequencies for all cores.
VCore "Fixed" on 1.2V (and not, it's not really fixed, it can automatically changed in some range, but with "Auto" VCore voltage it can be 1.5V+)
Loadline Calibration on "Low"

Real VCore on heavy load (Cinebench R20) is 1.31-1.32V.

You need to test system stability with any manual settings. You can fix VCore on higher voltage and lower LLC setting, or lower voltage and higher LLC setting.

Thanks @Ayvan I can confirm everything you've said! with the i9-10900 and VCore set to 1.280, my cinebench r20 score have remained virtually identical, however despite the voltage in HWmonitor showing 1.350 volts during the run, my temps went from 100c to 80c max, and my package wattage went from 220w to 180w. (also using LLC Low). This is fantastic stuff!

** Guides have been updated for OpenCore 0.6.1 **
Please see this post:
It is necessary once again to copy the following values into one of the new config files:
  • Serial Number
  • Board Serial Number
  • System UUID
These are easily copied-and-pasted from Hackintool:

Hi! I´m back with new questions...
I´m wondering if there´s any kext I could try to boost my radeon 5600xt card.
I´ve been using cinema4d and prorender to test some 3d renders and I´m getting 2 minutes 50 seconds per frame in a scene on OSX (using metal) and 1:40 for the same scene in Windows (using openCl). If I use just OpenCl in OSX the render time reduces to 2:09.
Any help will be appreaciated!

7-Sep-2020: Added EFI for OpenCore 0.6.1
Hey Casey! Thanks for bringing us this new update! you´re the best... I´m having a problem with my EFI:
I tried updating and everything worked ok in the USB drive, but when I try to copy it over the EFI partition in my internal drive, it says there is no more space left (I can copy the OC EFI folder but there´s no space for one addition kext I need (for openIntel bluetooth driver). However when I check the partition it tells me it is 200mb and your EFI foler is just 7mb.. so how can this be possible? I tried checking for hidden files but .trashes, .spotlight-V100, .fseventsd and system volume information are very lightweight. There should be enough space...
