Indeed, got acceleration, backlight and custom resolutions working with 0xfirewolf's fork of WEG (as referenced by the article).

Still got a couple of issues, first - mouse cursor icon is garbled, second, the display does not wake after it goes blank for sleep.
Yes, several users mention the same issue. Hopely it can be fixed in the future.

Installed 10.15.4 onto HP 14-dq1033CL (CPU i5-1035G4, 12GB memory, Dell 1820A wlan/BT, and 500GB NVMe SSD) with the clover EFI package posted in this thread previously. I added wlan/BT driver only. The installation was fine but as expected: no kext loaded for GPU. Screen resolution is fine at 1080p but VRAM 7MB.

Tried to update to 10.15.5, and further 10.15.6, but not helpful.

By the way, OpenCore 0.5.8 didn't work for me. Tried many times with exact instructions from OC website.

I am running this same computer, same specs as well. I am unable to get anything working, would you be able to provide your EFI?

Has anyone had a problem with the backlight? I use SSD-PNLFCFL, I also tried to use SSDT-PNLF, then the backlight is even less, at most by about 30-40%. When using the first file, the maximum illumination is about 60-70%. I've already tried everything, but I can't achieve maximum illumination in any way. Here I tried to change the device-id framebuffer and noticed such a thing, when I set the wrong value, the memory volume decreases to 7MB, but the backlight becomes at maximum, as it should be. Can you tell me which way to look? Processor: Intel i7 1065g7, gpu disabled via bootargs and added DSDT
