Even in the bios v3203 - latest - for the ws sage 10g my 128 Gb of Ballistix sport ram are no longer able to reach 3200 MHz by setting the XMP profile. Instead with the 2002 bios version everything is ok

That is odd, 3200 works ok on my end with XMP on with GSkill 3200 RGB RAM...but wouldn't be surprised if ASUS screwed something up with this RAM too.

I personally don't like that sanity checker tool, I have tried the above more than a month ago on my config.plist and found those discrepancies too.

However, most of my settings were done through trial and error, for example don't need alcid since it's already in DeviceProperties. And also X299 is not super mainstream so the sanity checker doesn't know 100% what's the proper solution.
About DeviceProperties, since I have installed any pcie card

speaking of DeviceProperties, since I have installed some PCIe cards different from yours, how should I set them? do I leave the same settings as yours in DeviceProperties? in general i did not understand how this part of config.plist works...

DeviceProperties is not just for cosmetic purposes. Should definitely read up the OpenCore documents for more information, it's a little deep in the beginning but it will make sense. For example you can set AppleALC layout ID to lets say layout ID 7 for audio (like I have in my config), etc.

For cosmetic purposes, I suggest using something like Hackintool to find your PCIe device paths and then updating the DeviceProperties tree lists with your own custom ones. You can use my config.plist if you'd like and just modify the PCIe paths and device names as per your set up.

Very cool thanks @izo1!!

I went ahead and added the apple logo to the newest BIOS for all the ASUS boards. I have not tried these so YMMV. Also refer to izo1's instructions regarding BIOS flashback and how to properly name the BIOS file.

Patching with UEFITool should no longer be required with these

Beast mode activated :headbang::clap:

@Loloflatsix - what's the location of the GitHub? Sorry if I missed it, I did a decent search effort.

I seem to have run into a situation can’t boot the kernel past EB. Could it be installing off USB installer is not preferred or working? Tried both USB3 and USB2. See picture any clues would be greatly appreciated. Trying to install Catalina. Next step might be to pre install onto SSD. My photo is correct orientation in my pics folder don’t know why it attached turned 180 degrees.

Edited just now:

It was my fault I assumed it had the latest bios when if fact it had the original 0302 from 11/2019. This board was just released Who would have figured it had the bios from November 2019. I have to boot process going forward with the install but it boot to black screen could be the AMD rx5500xt sapphire pulse being a new GPU might install the RX580 to see.
