unrelease or latest beta bios
this might be the next version or gigabyte might still add or remove a few things, then we will get another version number at the end

but as right now this is the lastest bios for that board

if you go to aorus page, the last one they have is f3c which doesn’t have or includes intel vulnerability patch

if you run intel tool with version f3c you will get , this system is vulnerable, f3d fixes the problem

i had a x299 gaming 7 pro and didn’t had so much trouble installing mac os

i honestly stopped trying after the bios reset bug

i will wait until big sur is out and open core and clover go throught a few updates to then try again with x299x, right now i’m super extra busy and i don’t have time to troubleshot, but i know once i try a few times i will get it to work
i’m just waiting for big sur

Thanks for this info. The BIOS reset sometimes happens at all BIOS versions. But I notice that these issues are related to what we adjust in the CPU advance section. So what I'm gonna do is use the F3D Bios and make different setting and test what is the most stable and share it here.

i load F3D still have bios crash thank you oc 0.6 is working i still have an error at begenning but still work

Great and what BIOS settings you use? Specially at CPU advance part?

i replace internal bluetooth wifi still working
i still can't detect usb-c in hackintool but usb-c is working

CPU advance part i boot on raid 0 i made raid 0 with 3ssd nvme

The Raid part I understand but what else are you trying to tell here? On what BIOS are you? and what setting do you use in BIOS?

If the port works you can find him in IORegistryExplorer app. look for USB in it.

strange since I update bios to F3D every program I download I can't open it and need to be trashed

This must be CRS and SIP related. As this new BIOS has the microcode update in it.

Any way can you still please share your BIOS config? Iemand all settings.?

Is that all? and nothing in CPU advanced? And using OpenCore or Clover?

@beltzak @dolgarrenan other cool kids: I don't see Thunderbolt with either AML attached and configured in OC 0.6.0.
In both cases I see "Thunderbolt: no drivers are loaded." under Thunderbolt entry in System Information.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't need to add any kexts or drivers, do I?

To make it clear, I did not update firmware. I did check Thunderbolt under Windows, it showed up in Device Manager.

Thunderbolt does never show up there on a Hackintosh. Only if if you use ssdt.aml in the PCI section under NVMExpress. This is pure cosmetic.

It does with a flashed Thunderbolt controller. Check this thread.

I really am sorry for not answering guys. I am far far away from my hackintosh and will be for a good time. I can login in Remote Desktop via ssh but not bios updated, changes whatsoever. I am really wondering what settings cause the bios failure as the working sleep for most of you. My Bios must have some settings wrong.

Edkroket let's hope you get some light on the bios failiure issue, for me it would the fix of the year lol
