Some advancements on the gestures:
- Use ApplePS2SmartTouchpad.kext.
- Configure the gestures by assigning them with SysPrefs > Keyboard > Shortcuts, selecting the gesture you want and just "do the gesture".

However, two finger right click only works when I go to SysPrefs > Trackpad > and disable then re-enable the gesture. What's going on there?

The same thing applies for tap to click. The kext is not saving those settings. I checked that the NVRAM works.

Weird, tap to click is working perfectly for me, but not the right click tap with two fingers.

Hey man!

Fantastic guide. I have been trying to get the DSDT to work with the battery status on this laptop forever and never found the way, with your guide now I have it ALMOST fully working, but I have a few problems, can you help me fix them?

- I can't seem to get audio to work, in SysPrefs, it shows: "No Output Devices".
- Brightness works great, however, brightness keys do not.
- Sometimes I get a "prohibited" or "stop" sign at boot, like 2/5 times I start the computer.
- Trackpad gestures don't seem to recognize 3 finger gesture, maybe this trackpad is just crap.

For the audio, I guess it's just that my codec and yours is just different. On Windows only shows Realtek Audio and it's not very descriptive. Do you know any way to check which one I have so I can patch it with AppleALC? I can't see any kext for audio in your .zip file!

Thanks a lot.
- In my case I have a combo jack ALC233, full working with id-layout 33 in pci devices in config.plist. AppleALC+CodecCommander
- For brightness press Shift+Caps and F Keys F5 or F6 (based on X555lj laptop)
- If you have some "stop" sign at boot try to boot with -v flag, in my case it was a problem with osxaptiofixdrv3 in Clover>drivers>UEFI, I've remove it and use osxaptiofixdrv and seems be fine.
- SMC.helper doesn't work well with Virtual SMC and should be removed from Clover>drivers>UEFI
- ApplePS2SmartTouchPad.kext already have a Ps2Keyboard.kext in Content>Plugins so the VodooPS2Keyboard is useless
- Trackpad Gestures and keyboard keys can be edited in info.plists of the kexts in ApplePS2SmartTouchPad.kext
try to search "ApplePS2SmartTouchPad.kext setup" on google for some usefull documentation.
-For better compatibility the usb ports should be patched using Hackintool, USBInjectAll.kext is not a long term solution.

- For smart card reader I haven't found any working methods yet
- I doesn't use VGA/HDMI so i dont'know if it work.

This Guide is very useful for the entire X Series ASUS laptop thanks to that copy I have an almost-full-working ASUS MBP. Thank You and to ThatCopy.

Hey there!
Sorry for the delay, it appears that you can't share any external contact information for some reason and I was banned.

- If you read all my messages, you'll see that I managed to make it work using AppleALC. The sound is excellent and I get no interference, unlike before.
- How do I really fix the stop sign? I don't know where to find the files you've told me.
- And it looks like I'm editing the wrong file or I don't really know how to apply the changes you make to ApplePS2SmartTouchpad, no matter how hard I try to change them, the trackpad stays the same, three fingers is equal to a right click, two is middle and single finger is left click, which is NOT ideal, but works. Any help on that?
- What about the USB Ports? Is it bad that you patch them using USBInjectAll? Why?
- I've tested HDMI and works like a charm, at least the image part, I haven't fully tested it yet, so that's good news!

Thank you for your interest in this guide, thanks to the effort of all of us, we can pretty much have a fully working Hackintosh laptop.

- UPDATE : I've a strange problem with headphones, ONLY without AC adapter. Sound switch to mono and re-switch to stereo only if I open the sound panel preferences. You have this problem?

- For the stop sign try to boot -v (verbose mode), post me the photo of the output and I can help you better.

-Select ApplePS2SmartTouchpad.ketx>click with right-button mouse (or three fingers in your case)>show content and edit info.plist, in your kext are some pdfs that can Help you.

- USBInjectAll : as the name itself it inject all usb ports, even the ones you don't use. This is not optimal for power managment. Use Hackintool for generate Usb port mapping.

- UPDATE, HDMI Audio works with Rehabman's guide https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ndy-bridge-kaby-lake-and-likely-later.189495/

PS: you can try my ApplePS2SmartTouchpad.kext. maybe can works for you
