Please compress and upload your EFI folder by private message. This will allow me to audit your PlatformInfo section without making that information public. There have been some reports of corrupted PlatformInfo.

you've got a message :)

The config.plist shows that Platform ID 0x3E9B0007 is enabled -- this is used when iGPU drives your monitor. But if you're using AMD RX 580, you should start with config-AMD-GPU.plist.

Also add -v to Boot Arguments (in the NVRAM section).

Then at OpenCore Picker menu, press space to reveal additional options and choose Reset NVRAM on the right side. When system reboots, try the installer again.

But connect the monitor to AMD GPU.

Thanks ___ going to try right now :)

Same issue
Can't understand...

Could it be due to BIOS version ? I'm still on stock F2,

You should upgrade to F5 because that unlocks CFG-LOCK, which is necessary.

Fixed, that was the issue :) thanks !!!!!

Small question, anyone tried big sur?)
Just finished installing it on both Z390 Designare systems:
  • Test Bench with i5-9600K encountered an error processing payload.005, which is one of the files in the Installer. A direct installation could not be done, so I installed Big Sur on an external SATA SSD using my 2020 MacBook Pro, copied the OC 0.6.0 EFI to it, and attached it to the Test Bench. It works just fine.
  • Primary System with i7-9700K had no problems at all with a direct installation. No changes to EFI and no changes to BIOS parameters. Screenshot here.
Let's see what we as a group can do with the Z490 Vision D and G.
