Hi Everyone, has anyone experienced issues with powering down their laptop?

Mac OS works perfect, but when I power down from Windows 10 the laptop stay powered on. Windows "shuts down" and then the screen goes black and fan gets louder and louder, until i hold down the power button to turn it off.

I found this only happens after changing my DVMT allocation, since if I revert it back to default, windows shuts down fine but then I won't be able to boot into Mac. Also tried turning off fast start up in windows as well.

I Appreciate any suggestions on this matter! Thanks

I'm stuck because I havent got any other way to get to internet from this computer

Hi guys, lately I'm having some bad problems with my xps (random reboots, kernel panic every time I connect HDMI through usb c). So I'm planning to move back to Windows or linux since I don't work with ios anymore.
Anyone know if it is necessary to revert dvmt allocation?

No need to revert DVMT settings. Windows (and linux) work seamlessly with DVMT initial and max apertures. OSX is the only sensitive OS in this regard.

Hey all, after updating to 10.15.6 I lost all TB3 functionality. Running OC 0.6.0 and latest ACPI/Kexts. Anyone has an idea?

NVM, apparently my TB3 adapter broke right during the update...

I made a minimal OC folder for Catalina
One thing is missing : the Brightness buttons that doesn't work anymore.
Is there a specific SSDT to add or Kext ?

Try those keys in combination with the Function (Fn) key.
