1. Instructions are listed in my GitHub. Are you using OpenCore? The Base-EFI already has this configured.
  1. Double check that SSDT-RTC0.aml is in your EFI folder under EFI-OC-ACPI. If you already have SSDT-AWAC.aml, you can replace it with SSDT-RTC0.aml
  2. Double check that SSDT-RTC0.aml is an entry in your config.plist under ACPI-Add. If you already have SSDT-AWAC.aml, you can replace it with SSDT-RTC0.aml.
    • Comment (String) SSDT-RTC0.aml
    • Enabled (Boolean) YES
    • Path (String) SSDT-RTC0.aml
2. Look at CaseySJ's thread.

I do not use Opencore, I use Clover, I want to learn how to configure opencore to be able to use it but for me it is complicated, even so, I will try it, I will also try to find out how to add entries in the config.plist to use the SSDT-RPC0.aml, now I have it in the ACPI / PATCHED folder but I don't know how to create entries in ACPI / Add, I will investigate it, thanks for all the links, regards.

If you're using clover you don't need to manually add entries to the config.plist. If you're using BIOS 2002, flash back to a nonpatched one, and make sure MSR lock is set to disabled in BIOS. You may not even need SSDT-RTC0.aml. If it still doesn't boot use this one.

Thank you again, @djlild7hina !!! your comment made me disassemble the memory, gpu, and cpu. turned it back on and all memory is available.

the only reason i would like to have windows for is to control the aurora gpu terrible colors. maybe that can be done with VM ware? if anyone knows it would save me a lot of hassle.
i do have another evo 970 m.2, but i planned it for my x99 platform, and also would need another pci slot for that to operate (from the top of my had, restrictions about using the second m.2 slot on the Sage?)

regarding bios, i flashed 0905 as kgp suggested, but not his version with the imacpro splash screen. the original one. i thought it should be good since my processor is from that era and i do not need support for newer cpu. or am i wrong?

Nice! that's good.
There may be some rgb software for macOS but idk if it would be compatible with gpus.
The lower m.2 slot is on the PCH while the vertical one uses PCIe lanes.

You can use any of the newer BIOS but if you're on 3101 make sure to patch it with the UEFItool version in post 1.

Update to 10.15.6 was pretty straight forward :)

So my dilemma now is Asus has released the Pro WS X299 SAGE II but it has the Asmedia USB 3.2 Gen 2 probably not supported at this time nor is this motherboard?

The Sage 2 should work fine. It’s just rebranded from 3.1 to 3.2

Will the USB kext work with version 3.2? Also the Lan firmware may not need to be edited?

No need for usb kext on asmedia gen 3.2 ports. You only need to make a mapping for the intel ports xhci. Looks like the i225-lm has native support.
