[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Oh, i lied! I have a Thunderbolt 2 to DisplayPort. I do have a spare TB2 to TB3 adapter, but i'm getting no video out.

I should also end the practice of installing Hackintosh kexts into /Library/Extensions. I never thought Mojave would continue to be used for so long. I suppose developers of 32-bit apps have gone on permanent vacation...

It's really annoying how even 64bits apps updated for Catalina are giving different issues , I just installed Catalina in another m2 drive to do tests and my conclusion not everything that must be compatible it's reliable yet

HackinDROM has been updated!

Now its possible to directly Download a .dsl file of your fresh new generated SSDT with custom file name.
Note: the default file name is "SSDT-TB3-" + PCI root port + Slot Number.
"-HackinDROM" is automatically added to the custom name, you can delete it if you want once downloaded.

Fixed, thanks Sir!

In the next update

Wow. I've been off the site for a few months and missed this creation develop into something so awesome. I just replaced my EX3 SSDT with one from the app and it was flawless. Full nodes. Good job.

@CaseySJ so much good came out of this thread.

Alas, we need a simple USB-C to DP cable (or even USB-C to HDMI).

What would the cheapest Thunderbolt3 device be that can prove that flashing the TB3 ROM for macOS worked properly? Even SSD enclosures seem pretty expensive...

This may be a silly reply, but, if you don't currently own any TB devices, why are you bothering about thinking about purchasing a TB device to test if you have flashed the ROM successfully? :think:

@CaseySJ
I've been hanging back on Mojave, does your Clover 5120 mini-guide apply?
Sure, but if you're currently on Clover 4xxx then it's best to following this guide:
