Intel NUC 10 Frost Canyon

The i5 doesn't need CPU emulation from what I have read and understand, I don't have one to test myself, but it can use a much simpler configuration that what is posted in #195. Try this instead being aware that USB port configuration is incomplete and sleep/wake probably will not function properly. If it works and you are interested I can see you a link to correct that.

I mounted the EFI in #195 and it worked without a sudden reboot. However, I don't know why the Bluetooth is turned off by itself and I cannot turn it on again. Anyone can help?

Bluetooth requires proper USB configuration to work. I’ve read the i5 has a different motherboard than the i7 so it’s not surprising that EFI folder doesn’t quite work with your configuration. https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/the-new-beginners-guide-to-usb-port-configuration.286553/

proper USB configuration
BTW, if somebody needs I did this using Hackintool, here is the SSDT & kext, but for me it looks unrequired due to NUC has less than 15 ports. Which port the SD reader on I don't know since it doesn't work (no driver), so it's excluded.

hi. thank you very much. is it possible to add the sd card reader?

Hello everybody,
has anyone got the nuc10 i7 wifi card up and running?

Sure, but please generate your own serial on PlatformInfo tab because I am going to link this config with my AppleID.
Also please note it has custom AppleALC 1.5.1 & OpenCore 6.0 Development Release as well as latest kexts taken from an outside source.
Works on NUC10i5 as well. Only things not working is audio on the USB-C attached to LG 38WK95C and sleep/wake when using wireless keyboard and mouse (both with dongles). Great work.

In order to find out the port name (HSxx/SSxx) the card reader should work (to have a driver), and when one inserts SD card the port should be highlighted in green in Hackintool - but the latter doesn't happen (no any reaction against SD card insertion).

The port can be determined in Windows, but I am not going to install it (my demand in Win10 is satisfied by VMware). If you tell me which one it is, it's easily to add.

As far as I heard in this topic, you don't need to Emulate CPU - please try to empty these 2 fields (CpuID1Data and Mask under Kernel tab). Once Apple (if ever) adds support to i7-10710U we will do the same I hope as well as Acidanthera would support 0x9BCA graphics device id in their WhateverGreen.kext.

As for sound, I have a big hope for coming releases of AppleALC. We had no sound at all with v1.5.0 and now with v1.5.1 we are having at least analog audio...

Hi,
if anyone can use it, I have edited voodoo.kext to work only on the audio on board. The peripherals that are connected are managed by the apple kext (in my case the audio output of the egpu).
Sorry for my English.....

hi.it works but once hdmi monitor is shut down you have to restart the Nuc if you want to bring back the hdmi audio output.
