The 4K Dell OptiMac - 9020 MT - Core i7-4790 - Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K IPS Monitor

2 months from China to Australia ?? Hard to believe that it could take that long. Did you call or email the seller ?
Forget moddiy. I ordered a 24 to 8 pin adapter cable from them and waited for 3 months. It never came. They finally gave me my money back and I ordered one from ebay or Amazon. It was here in a couple days.

Thanks for the info. I'll remove the link to their site if their service is that bad.

Yeah tracking number says it left HK on 22/5 but thats it, no updates or progress. They said it was coming by ship due to covid and could be 1-2 months. Contacted them again today see what they say. I note the ones on ebay/amazon don't have the extra single wire plug so was worried about an ebay one being low quality. Do you have a link to the one you got Gerrykaz?

I bought this one on ebay from trulystores for $13. It works fine with my RX570

hello thanks for the great tutorial. i have successfully equipped an optiplex 9020, i5 4590s usff with macOS Catalina.

Today i also added the AzureWave AW-CB160H for Wlan and bluetooth.

During the installation I noticed that the card is only half the size and therefore the clip to lock the wlan card cannot be used.

Is there a proper solution for this? Have it now provisionally installed.^^

After the installation the wlan was running immediately. With the Bluetooth but now the problems come. I used a bluetooth-usb-adapter which works out of the box. When I unplug the bluetooth-usb-adapter, it doesn't find the bluetooth from the new card.

Anybody know why my optiplex can't find it?

With the USFF form factor the card should fit in the slot on board.

Which Optiplex form factor ? USFF, SFF or MT ?

Will add this information in my account-profile, too ;).

It looks like the they did lengthen that to a full size mini PCIe slot on the 9020 USFF. I have the 9010 USFF but not the 9020.

9010 USFF motherboard.

On the right side you can see the 9010 USFF has the half-mini slot.

So you might need to get a half mini to full size mini PCIe converter. You'll also need to use the AirportBRCM fixup kext and possibly one other that I'm not recalling right now. Those are needed for BT to work. Perhaps @BillyGoatGruff could give you the details on that.

@lapacho92 the usff does not have the same USB settings as the other models, have you checked the usb port is working as expected?

@nicksoph.
Oh, okay, followed the instructions of this guide, and so far everything's worked fine. Ethernet, hdmi, bluetooth.usb...

I assume the subject I have is similar to the one discussed here?

Then I'll have to look into it more closely.
